Yeah, I really never dug the Red Dragons at all. I get what they were trying to do, but it always felt a bit half-assed and adding something new into an established storyline and not giving it a lot of attention is unwise. It's just too easy for things to not mesh properly. The Red Dragons hammer that example home pretty well, in my opinion.
 
I have a better idea for a Rain X-Ray than my last.

It works just like Cage's, as in being a parry. When the opponent strikes Rain, he disappears in a mist or melts into a puddle, and reforms behind the opponent with both hands over the opponent's face, making it look like a traditional ninja assassination. He then begins to pump water into the opponent's mouth and nose, and the x-ray focuses in on their lungs swelling up with water. He then either finishes off the attack by snapping the opponent's neck, or instead of the neck-snap, slamming them onto the ground and stomping their chest and bursting their lungs, water/vomit/blood shoots out of their mouth (a la Noob's X-Ray).

That sounds awsome I would like the last part of it where he stomps on their chest and all the water and blood spurts out their mouth...nasty
 
I wanna rain, more water foccused than lighting (thats raiden) Rain must use a "presion" fatality.
Encubes the oponent in a water cube, then the characters pops out the water cube andexplodes in inny tinny piezes.
Rain must use a new trick, a kind of uppercut a la glassius from KI.
 
What about this fatality idea its simple and fast:

Cloud forms above the opponent and down pours on the opponent. Only thing is that it is Acid Rain and then it melts the opponent away kinda like Smokes fatality. Simple and fast

Even by MK standards, that wouldn't make sense because Rain isn't sulfurous, he can't transform into clouds of acid rain lol.
 
And he doesnt summon cloudes either, he just "creates" water as same as Sub and Scorp creates ice and fire, also his lightning doesnt come from a cloud, it just appears from nowehere like the water, fire, ice, etc.

Different from nightwolf, who summons it with a cloud instead of create it.

I had the same exact idea! That would be a great uppercut/teleport. How he melts and goes underneath you

I think they should really push the water theme as well. If not, then he's just gonna end up as that boring purple ninja nobody picks. Still 50/50 on Rain. I will just have to wait and see how serious NRS takes him with originality.

Eh, I think we should just leave the acid fatalities to Reptile.

I do like the idea of Rain summoning a vortex of water, though, for his fatality.
 
Definitely would love the water theme be pushed, and honestly I wouldn't mind the Super Roundhouse coming back. Just as long as it doesn't turn into an infinite, I think it would be awesome. I loved the idea someone had about the SR going into the X-Ray too.

Totally agree with both the water theme to be used as much as possible, and the SRK as an X-Ray starter could be potentially very funny and cool. Perhaps even could be worked into one of Rain's fatalities, perhaps he could kick the opponent, and as they return they could split in half and he could catch the upper part of the body and exhibit it, or something like that, just an idea, lol.

any idea for dates? I think they said we get both Rain and Kenshi in July but anyone knows when more or less? or a date of a video about them before the release? so hyped about Rain, I can't wait :D
