Which classics should get HD remakes?

What favorite games of your past would you like to see get the HD treatment?

For me, I'd absolutely love to see Sonic Adventure with updated graphics.
Also Smash TV and MKII :)
 
UMK3, Final Fantasy IV and VI, and Super Mario 64 are my all-time favorite games, so those would be the first I'd like to see, and 1/2 of these are supposed to be getting remade, so I'm happy as shit about that. I would imagine that FFVI will get the same treatment in due time. :biggrin:

Actually, more than a remake I just wanna see god damn Streets of Rage 4. Come the **** on, Sega, just make it sprite-based, don't screw with the gameplay and let me play as Blaze; I'll be happy as a pig in shit.

Anyhoo... Sonic Adventure would be awesome to see too, especially with a bug fix. I was hoping that's what the XBLA/PSN release was going to be, but so much for that. They couldn't even change the aspect ratio to 16:9; come the **** on, Sega.

When speaking about classic games, Sonic is the only game I remember playing as a kid. Every time I went over to my cousin's house I would always beg to play Sonic on her computer.

Half-Life also comes to mind, but there's already a remake in progress.

Half-Life Aka Black Mesa Source (Lets hope this gets done soon!)

Far Cry 1 - with a bit of instints thrown into the story also with more wildlife underwater and on the ground and the air, enemies that hunt you down with dogs. Better stealth weapons, bow and arrows, knife kills, traps etc oh yeah and jet-ski's and motorbikes as new vehicles

I'd also love to see the first three Elder Scrolls get an updated release. Morrowind is another of my all-time favorites, and after seeing some of the mods for it, I would almost weep for a modern console version. I've never played Arena or Daggerfall, so it would be cool to play them, too.

Oh my GOD, if they ever remake old school SoR or FINALLY make SoR 4, we HAVE to play together!! I still play 2 and 3, they never get boring.

I've been waiting for an SoR 4 announcement forever, just DO IT, SEGA. I can imagine how awesome it will look <3

My second favorite game series is Metal Gear.

So, I'd like to see a remake of Metal Gear and Metal Gear: Solid Snake.
(the NES games, not the SOLID Post-PS1 series).
