Well, so far, I love how it looks. I can love how it looks without playing it. I love all the game mechanics that are supposed to be in place as well. I won't know for sure until I play it, but they've done a pretty good job of illustrating the playstyle through the gameplay videos especially in the MKasts.

But yeah, the backgrounds and character animations especially dazzle the Hell out of me.

I love it because I know it loves me :)
Seriously though, everything I've seen of it so far gives me a good feeling about it. I'm positive I'll have heaps of fun with it.
 
Finally a thread that's somewhat positive yay! I love this game so much, because it has so much effort put into everything that I just know it's gonna be the BEST MK ever!

Yeah, that's what he means. You can do four-player tag locally, or against people online, two people playing locally on the same team. There's also a co-op tag arcade mode in the game too, if I remember correctly. Can't do that in MvC3.

So let me get this straight, My wife and I can't play together on the same console as Co-Op? or do they have to be to different PS3's like Uncharted 2 Mulit?

This was confirmed by Boon himself. It's fantastic. When you hear about tag modes in games, you always want a co-op option, and this is one of the few games that gives that to you.

I didn't know this, That is amazing. I can't wait for April 19th to come around and God willing there will be a GameStop midnight release.

There is, at least where I live. You don't seem to live too far. Dude at my Gamestop says they having a mini-tournament and a copy of MK will be the reward. Pretty sweet, even though I already paid off my TE edition :P

If it's like the Vs series was back in the day, it's whoever finishes off the boss. I doubt there's endings in that mode though. If there is, then I'm more than happy, but the gameplay in this case seems like enough to make it worthwhile...

I'd of course prefer endings, but I'd rather not assume they're there.

Same here.
The GameStop manager near me told me that she will have a mini-tournament and midnight release, with MK 9 on some big flat-screens.


I'm loving MK 9 so far.
I'm excited, and can't wait for April 19th. :-D

Amen bro. I've never been this excited for a game. Not even for Metal Gear Solid, which happen to be my favorite games/series.
