Your wishlist for MK10

I don't know about kreate a fighter for Konquest. It would make it hard to be canon.
I'd be down for customizing Shujinko's clothes or whoever it revolves around.

Kreate a Fighter was great. But because everything's in those awkward-ass cinematics now they're probably impossible to do.

Thats why id love for them to make a non canon Mortal Kombat RPG adventure game. The Mortal Kombat Universe has so much untapped potential.

MKD konquest was by far the best feature introduced in the 3D era of Mortal Kombat. Deception rocked!

To me it felt like just a training mode dressed up to appear as an rpg. I preferred Armageddon's as it really did feel like a new game mode.

As for what I want I'd love kaf back, chess kombat (now that was the best addition from the 3d era) and for Liu Kang to return as God Kang. He could go about things his own way, trying to take over from Raiden but still against Shinnok. Would add an interesting layer to the story.

I'd also like to see test your luck return. It added a lot of replay value.

That would be interesting. But I'd want it Action/Adventure like MKSM. The story should take place in the events of MK9 (or MK1-UMK3) with many twists. The custom character would be you (or any of us) being in those events and helping the Forces of Light. More characters should be unlockable in versus mode and for every character that's unlocked, the custom character learns abilities (moves, fatalities, and etc.) from each unlocked character and also costume pieces from the characters depending on the gender of the characters unlocked.

Playable Characters:
1. Custom Character/ Main Character
2. Liu Kang (Moves and costume pieces from him can be given to main character from the start.)
3. Jax (Moves and costume pieces from him can be given to main character from the start.)
4. Sub-Zero (Moves and costume pieces from him can be given to main character from the start.)
5. Scorpion (Moves and costume pieces from him can be given to main character from the start.)
6. Raiden (Moves and costume pieces from him can be given to main character from the start.)
7. Kano (Unlockable)
8. Kitana (Unlockable)
9. Ermac (Unlockable)
10. Quan Chi (Unlockable)
11. Reptile (Unlockable)
12. Shao Kahn (Unlockable)

Others such as Sonya, Kung Lao, Jade, Mileena, Johnny Cage, Stryker, Kabal, Nightwolf, Smoke, Baraka, Sheeva, Goro, Kintaro, Sektor, Skarlet, Sindel, Rain, Cyrax, Shang Tsung, Kenshi, and Noob Saibot will be in the game's story mode but will not be playable.

Here is how the ability customization for the main character should categorized when character is being created.

1. Fighting Style (Brutalities will depend on this too.)
2. Special Moves (Broken down into projectiles, charge attacks, power ups, and etc.)
3. X-Ray Attack
4. Fatalities (Each playable character should have 4 fatalities.)
5. Multality (Usable in story mode and survival mode only.)

Modes:
1. Story Mode (Up to 2 players.)
2. Multiplayer Mode (Up to 4 players.)
3. Survival Mode (Up to 2 players.)
4. Online Battle (Up to 4 players.)

An MK Action RPG is a great idea and I mean that. Natdogg's right, everytime I look into MK lore I just think: So how much of this junk is going actually figure into the story mode? Shaolin Monks was a great idea that just needed some tweaking. I'm honestly shocked that they didn't continue on with that or with those mythology games.

On an unrelated note, if there's any character who needs an Origin game, it's Shao Kahn. See how an advisor becomes a conqueror. Hell, I'd love a Reptile one too.

I didn't care for death traps.
Also, what do you mean by having them as new stage fatalities?
Wouldn't they just be called stage fatalities, then?

Like all stage fatalities?
Death Traps are those stupid one hit kills from Deception.
Which couldn't work in a 2d fighter. The corner should be reserved for only the most godlike of combos.

The Death Trap in MKD/MKA is in practice the equivalent of a Ring Out in Virtua Fighter and the Soul series. I can tell you for a fact that this particular concept is NOT practical for a 2D fighter. It would be one broken mess, with no way to avoid being caught once you're trapped. A 3D fighter is understandable. At least you can sidestep out of harm's way.

You're not understanding what I'm saying. Take the death traps from MKD and turn them into stage fatalities. You don't have to have them in the corner of the 2D plane, just turn them into background objects that are used when the stage fatality combination is entered. It's as simple as that.
