Your wishlist for MK10

SRK has a button to spoiler things, so people don't have to remember the code. I wonder if TRMK can get the same thing.

Spoiler tags are easy to use too, so there's no reason not to use them properly:

I'm gonna try and avoid MK10 forums until I get it. Too many potential spoilers.

Just be cautious and weary when MK10 is announced, and hit the little report button (Triangle) next to the "Thanks" button, if people start spoiling stuff that they shouldn't be spoiling.


Anyways, today marks 24 days left, so I assume that Ed Boon will have some wise Kiefer Sutherland joke in there somewhere, on Twitter.

I've wondered how to give thanks, because the button is not there for me. That would
be funny if Boon tweeted a 24 reference, because that would give further proof of Kiefer's involvement in MK10.
 
You're a new user, therefore the Thanks ability won't be available for you until you've reached a certain amount of posts, I believe its 100.
 
Alright, time for more ideas. Chess Kombat, anyone?
Spells should be dependent on the kharacter. For instance, Sub-Zero uses imprison. Instead of bars, he uses ice to immobilise his opponent. For Scorpion, it's a wall of flames. Quan Chi, walls of skulls, and so on. For the "Kill" spell, it's generally the same koncept. Instead of the opponent burning, Shao Kahn throws his hammer at the targets head, killing them instantly. Any more ideas for spells? How about new spells?
 
Chess Kombat was great, but as far as mini-games go, (for me) Puzzle Kombat and Motor Kombat is where it's at.

I don't play Deception and Armageddon much these days, but when I DO fire up those discs, it's strictly to play Puzzle Kombat and Motor Kombat.

Anyways, I've spent COUNTLESS hours on Puzzle and Motor Kombat, and I'd spend countless more again, if either 1 of those was in MK10.
So much fun.
 
I've never played Armageddon, so I don't know exactly what Motor Kombat is like. Is it a MK Mario Kart? I played Puzzle Kombat a lot on my quest to get the Onyx koins to buy Noob-Smoke, thoroughly enjoyed it (and the music). I enjoyed Chess Kombat in Deception because it gave me a different alternative to the Arcade Ladder, which got boring after awhile, where I could play regular kombat in the style of one of my favourite strategy games. Whenever I put in MKD I play the Konquest that I've completed so many times (it never gets old for me). When I play MKDA I play the training Konquest simply because of the music.
 
God its been forever since I been on this site. anyways if they added Tremor or Hydro, that would make MK10 for me.
 
The thing about Hydro though, correct me if I'm wrong, that's the Water Ninja? If so, how are they going to distinguish him from Rain? Besides him being a Cyborg.
 
The number one thing I want for MK10 is a roster with mostly new characters.

I understand you gotta have the headliners, Scorpion and Sub Zero are a given as are Shinnok and Quan Chi. Raiden, Sonya and Johnny Cage will most likely return since they survived MK9.

They will probably use some BS to bring some of the dead characters back but I really want the roster to be most of the newer characters like Reiko, Jerek, Kai, Tanya, Fujin, Sareena, Nitara, Kenshi. I want to see how those characters would look like if they actually had time to make them look and play badass.

Other things I want.

1. This is MK10, you have to go all out. Give us the biggest Krypt ever. Hell I dont care if they include all the stuff they threw in past games, I just unlocking things

2. NO DEMO! This is very important in my opinion. Do NOT release a demo for this. Do not allow people to hack into the game early and spoil everything.

3. Speaking of spoilers, I want tons of secrets. The stuff for MK9 with Jade, Reptile and Noob Saibot was cool but I want to see a return of hidden characters like MK1 and 2. I want there to be unplayable, hidden characters you can fight if certain conditions are met.

4. More unlockable characters. I loved how Deception did this. I managed to stay away from spoilers for that game and it was so amazing to unlock characters like Tanya, Jade, Kenshi, Liu Kang.. characters that I never thought I would see again.

5. Hara Kiri. This was so much fun in Deception I really hope they bring this back

6. Choose your destiny. this was also a great addition to 3-4. I dont know why they never brought this back

7. A battle plan that makes sense. Here is what I mean by this. If Shinnok is the final boss in the game and he is a playable character, the final boss SHOULD NOT BE SHINNOK. That makes zero sense. Make the final boss Raiden or something. Also, if you pick a character like Sonya, it makes no sense that you have to fight your allies in single player. If I pick Sonya my allies like Jax, Johnny Cage, Raiden, Liu Kang should not show up in the battle plan. Again that makes no sense. I also want to see a rival system in the game like Street Fighter has. The fight before you reach the Sub Boss / Boss Fights should be a fight against your rival.

4. Jason Vorhees - I am only putting this here because it is inevitable. The new Nightmare on Elm Street movie came out around the time of MK2011 and a new Friday the 13th movie is coming out next year so it would make sense if MK10 is coming in 2015.
