How about we treat the PS2/original Xbox era of MK like it never existed? That was the worst fighting engine EVER! I want the future of MK disinfected of every trace of that engine!

I think they might use a number of the characters from MK 4-6. Though they may decide to go in a new direction. I think the idea was reboot and re-write.

I hope Ashrah and Dairou and Havik come back. I also hope they decide to make frost like an apprentice of the SZ's or maybe even a younger sister. I would be ok with her being the new Sub-zero.

Darrius, Kobra, and Kira need not come back at all! they all sucked!!

Li Mei and Tanya may replace Kitana and Jade.

Kai and Shujinko may replace Kung Lao and Liu Kang.

Hey, you never know. In a future MK, there will most likely be a new generation of fighters replacing originals. Hopefully, at least one of those fighters will be my ideal character (a twisted female dominatrix who violates guys). ;)

We haven't always agreed in the past, but we do agree on this. :)

Maybe the Soulnado seperated Bi-Han from Saibot, sending Saibot to the Chaos Realm and forming an alliance with Havik, while Bi-Han is sent to the NetherRealm.

Maybe in that process of going through the Soulndao, when Bi-Han is seperated from Saibot he arrives in the NetherRealm and is taken to the Prison of Souls.
Sub-Zero escapes from the Prison of Souls, and crosses the Bridge of Immortality, to reach Quan Chi's fortress, where he fights against Quan Chi's personal guards, Kia, Jataaka, and Sareena.
Once he defeats them all, he tracks down Quan Chi, with the help of Sareena (Sub-Zero Mythologies).

All of that stuff about Sub-Zero escaping the Prison of Souls and meeting Sareena happens in MKM:SZ, with the ORIGINAL Sub-Zero (Bi-Han), btw.
How does anyone know that NRS won't make something like that happen, and give a nod to MKM:SZ with that, at the same time?

Maybe the Soulnado could have even cleansed Noob Saibot from the evil wraith in / soul taint in his body, returning Bi-Han to his former human self.


These are just brainstorms that some of us have thought of, but it clearly shows that human Sub-Zero in MK10 is possible, and even so through Bi-Han.

And I thought Babalities were total shit a long time...until they made a surprise return in MK9. Keep the Babality in MK10.

Basic things I'd like to see:

-better netcode
-better Krypt (closer to the Deadly Alliance Krypt with different kolored koins and more original stuff in it, to be unlocked)
-human Sub-Zero, Liu Kang and the other characters that survived MK9 (including Rain, Skarlet and Kenshi).


Arenas I'd like to see re-envisioned:

-MK 4 - Prison (including the fan stage fatality)
-MK II - Kombat Tomb (including the ceiling stage fatality)
-DA - Portal
-DA - Lost Tomb
-DA - Lin Kuei Palace
-DA - House of Pekara
-DA - Palace Grounds
-Deception - Dark Prison (with A LEGITIMATE STAGE FATALITY and NOT a death trap)
-Deception - Slaughterhouse (with A LEGITIMATE STAGE FATALITY and NOT a death trap)
-Deception - Sky Temple
 
Mileena personifies all that is wrong with MK females, which is the whole reason I singled her out in particular. How can the sexualization of MK be toned down if its foremost posterchild is still present? It can't, which is why Mileena has to go.

Mileena's costume goes with her personality.
Her personality is that of the evil twin sister trying to make Princess Kitana look bad, and she's doing a good job of it.

Sonya, Kitana, Sindel, Jade and Sheeva were also dressed slutty in MK9, if we're REALLY going to get nit-picky here.
The sexualization can be toned down a bit by giving the OTHER female characters costumes that are better.
Mileena has always been the slutty / skimpy costumed one, throughout the years.
It's become HER staple.
Not so much for the other female characters.
 
I never denied the wardrobe choices of the other characters, I simply made an example of the foremost posterchild of such slutty wardrobe. You can make everyone else modest, but the sexualization will still get a bad rap for as long as Mileena stays.
