MK is being ruined and already died? lawlz. Have you played MK9? MK was going downhill for a little while with Deadly Alliance, Deception, and MK VS DC, but it's doing okay now.

Mortal Kombat died with Shaolin Monks!
Because Mortal Kombat 9 being at EVO 3 years in a row is dead? You're a joke. I'm done, lol.
If you're done doing your best Adolf Hitler impression, I think we can move on.MK9 is an impure MK game because it doesn't follow the original story word for word. It also carries the stigma of guest characters.
We as fans have an ethical responsibility to disinfect this franchise of impurities...such as guest characters, contradictions to the original story, and most of all, even the slightest hint of oversexualization. If people like N_F don't like it, they can leave the fanbase. True fans NEVER tolerate impurity to their product!
If I wanted to see any of your ideas that you want in MK, I would go to a strip club, read copies of Hustler, and watch Jenna Jameson films instead of playing MK!

Go right ahead. You can see some of that in MK9 already anyways.
3. It gives us 5 robots to the franchise (Cyrax, Sektor, Smoke, Sub-Zero, and Noob Saibot). Color coding and palette swaps should be done at this point.
Every MK game after Deception is Impure MK, and therefore does not count as MK!
There are no robots in MK, there are Cyborgs. Cyrax, Sektor, Smoke, Cyber Sub-Zero, Jax, and Kano. Maybe Kabal. Not sure what gives him the superhuman speed, but he does get it after he is worked on by Kano.
Because Sub Zero getting Borged was a great twist.

You're just butthurt because it was your favorite character.
Because Sub Zero getting Borged was a great twist. A lot of people wondered what it would be like if Smoke was the one who escaped.
Although it doesn't really matter because of the church scene.
Meh, I usually agree with you bblp, but I agree with araknyd here. I'm a fan of Sub-Zero too, but a year before the game was released people were saying Sub-Zero is going to get automated because of Boon's comment at E3. On top of that it was the most obvious change that they could make and it just felt like they did it for the sake of doing it. Cyber Sub died anyway and so did Smoke. So why automate either one?
Plus, and I know you're a fan of smoke, the automation process benefitted Smoke more than it did Sub-Zero. Smoke doesn't really have a lot going for him storywise, but the automation process gave him something.
If Smoke's ending holds true he's pretty much on the same track as a human that he was on as a cyborg too. It's just happening sooner. He's going to become a demon.
What this all breaks down to though is obviously by this argument nobody wants their favorite character to bite that cyber bullet. If they absolutely HAD TO though. I still say it should have been Smoke instead of Sub-Zero.
It was a terrible twist, and the story for it was utterly weak.
Raiden, Johnny Cage, Smoke, Liu Kang and Kung Lao were in the arena, and none of them could have helped stopped the Lin Kuei from taking their friend, given that Raiden single-handedly took out 6 cyborgs in the Living Forest? OK, sure.
Also, Chapter 11 thru 17 is where the story turned to shit.
Kung Lao gets his neck snapped, and NONE of them were able to say "Kung Lao, watch out!" to interfere? HORSE SHIT!
On top of that shit, pile on the terrible Sindel church massacre and Raiden killing Liu Kang because he's a klutz thunder god that can't control his own power? OK.
