The other day some people were posting that the guys from NRS were going to be releasing some "good news" that night. (I think it was Friday, not sure) They were speculating that it might be new DLC or something else, but I haven't heard anything else about it. So does anyone know what this supposed good news was, or did I get trolled...

I don't understand why people want the arcade collection, you can already buy the games as it is. They are just making even more money off of them. If you're a true MK fan you should have them already anyways.

they said it would be released summer 2011. idk if they know but the summer is almost over. street fighter 3 will be out before arcade kollection and i believe arcade kollection was announced first. its kinda sad we havent heard anything about in like 3 or 4 months.

arcade kollection will have online. that and you get all three games. thats worth $10. its not like capcom trying to make me pay $40 for a game i just bought at full price in February or march(cant remember).

Emulators are free... Though they dont have online support =/ the only reason why I though in buying it before is the HD sprites, but that was dropped so... I have 0% of interest in MKAK now.

Of course I still have the old games, but it's a pain to hook up my SNES everytime I want to play, plus it looks like crap on a HD TV. So, I'm looking forward to it though like fox said I wanted the HD kollection instead...

I dont have the old games cause I really dont like fighters on most console controllers. For $10-15 its not too expensive anyhow.

But ... a trailer for that would be pointless. If they are indeed straight ports, whats to show in a trailer that people havent seen?

They have online support through MAME/Kailera for MK2 and UMK3. MK1 with online will be interesting.

I wish it was in HD as well so I have no interest in it as I already own the games plus have them on PSN and XBL anyways.

Uh, really? Let's see what UMVC3 is adding to the game...

-12 new characters. The DLC characters for MK9 are $5 each so 12 characters would be $60. That in itself is worth getting the game. Plus not everyone has MVC3 to begin with. Some people, like myself, were waiting for a "super" version of it.

-Rebalanced gameplay.

-More modes such as Spectator online.

-2 new outfits for every character that was already in the game.

Seems worth it to me, even if you have MVC3 already.

STOP THE PRESSES! FOX HAS NO INTEREST IN MKAK!

I think we realized that in all the other threads on the subject that you chimed in on to let us know that Mr. Never Been to an Arcade isn't buying the Arcade Kollection. If we all acknowledge it, will you stop mentioning in all the time?
