Blitz: The League II just cracks me up, though, every time that I hear Frank Caliendo doing the John Madden play-by-play impersonation.

Been playing Amnesia The Dark Descent. I actually got A Machine for Pigs the day it was launched, but I remembered I never did complete the Dark Descent, so I felt the need to restart that game before I start the sequel.

I only play the game at night (who doesnt?) and some nights I'm too tired to play. So it's taking a while to complete. Just got all the shattered orb pieces in the torture chambers last night.
 
Been playing Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate at the moment and of course the most anticipated game of the year Grand Theft Auto 5. Im hyped for the Online for it.

I've been playing Final Fantasy 8 for about 3 weeks now. I think I got nostalgia from it. It was the first Final Fantasy game I got as a kid and sad to say, I never finished it...Most likely the discs back then had scratches. -___-
 
Something I haven't played in a long, long time (and a PSOne Classic I finally decided to buy on the PSN store)...

I lost count of how many times I finished FF8...but it's considerably lower than the number of times I've finished FF7. I got both games on the PSN store, despite still owning physical copies of both games. Reason I haven't played FF9 in a long time is because all but ONE disc from my physical copy got stolen from my own bedroom behind my back by someone my family trusted in the home while I was on vacation (that person was a troubled teenage son of this woman my uncle was dating at the time), and I had more PSN store priorities than FF9 since its PSN release (primarily DLC for PS3 games I already have).

man that just pisses me off when people steal stuff, especially videogames. but anyway, the only ff game I ever finished was ff7 and I used action replay. ya lol I know I was such a cheater back then. I only finished it once. I have less patience with long rpg games like ff games. im not the best at ff games. the final boss was still hard. all I got was a black screen with the ff intro song playing like forever.

I restarted ff8 a few days ago. one day I will finish this game. the farthest I got on ff8 was the beginning of disc 4 when that monster captures rinoa. I kept getting her killed. I also only had like 5 or 6 gardian forces and I couldn't go back. I was pissed!

I swear im going to finish both of those games. and without cheating.

also with all that ff stuff aside ive been playing:

Well, I still have the Brady Games FFVIII strategy guide, so even though I pretty much know my way around the game, I still keep it handy just so I don't miss anything. As for the boss fight you're speaking of (I think you're referring to the battle against Sorceress Adel), try casting Regen on Rinoa, and only use abilities against Adel that target a single opponent (obviously, summoning GFs aside from Carbuncle and Cerberus are a BIG no-no). I DEFINITELY know my way around FF7 to the point where I don't need my Brady Games guide.
