TRMK MK Trailer

No offense to ANYBODY in this thread, but shouldn't these character spots be reserved for people who still play the game and are decent?

I'm not ragging on anybody or trying to be an elitist, but this vidya is representing TRMK's finest.
And Critical is going to have our names attached to our characters exhibition.
Wouldn't it make sense if the person representing those sweet moves actually knew how to do them?

If someone from from TYM or MKU sees this video and says "Oh man, I really want to play against 'Person''s 'character'".
Then they play them and all Person is doing is spamming uppercuts and throws.
Again, not being a dick.

BBBLP holds an interesting point.

Should we do a poll on this?

I'm fine with either way, but I'm interested in other people's input.

I think BBBLP's idea is very valid. Personally I haven't been playing MK recently (I'm picking it back up again, though) but when I was playing I was pretty good, so what i'm getting at is like they could see the gameplay & be like "I remember him, he improved that much? Damn I need to play him again". Thats just my opinion, though.

Even though I don't have the game anymore, I still have access to it. So can I still rep Mileena?

I may not know a lot of combos with my characters but I do well on simple basic combos involving the X-ray. Probably around 4-11 hits that do about 20 percent to 35 percent damage. Sometimes even 40 percent. I know a 4 hit X-Ray combo with Jade that does probably 42 percent damage but it's hard because I have to catch the opponent in air. I am not as good as some others but I know I am an expert Kombatant. ;-)

I only know combos with Kabal and Cage. They're not long, but I can string Kabal's into an X-ray if I want. I know a corner combo with Cage. Other than that, I play like an amateur.

Again guys lets discuss this in that thread I posted above, leave this thread for entrants/ideas to the video, or questions directed at me.

THe outline discussion should go in that link I put above.

Back to the mattererers at hand, for Sektor could you please use his up missiles as anti airs?
Shit works great as an anti cross up move, especially against Quan Chis.

Also using his up missile to trap a player on wake up after juggling b2.
And going from there into his knee raise mix ups.

And finally some zoning. Mixing up the back, front and direct missiles.

Holy shit I love it when Sektors use the Leg lift mix-up. I guess wrong most of the time though

Yeah, already planned to have most of that in there except up missile for anti-cross up lol. Never seen anyone do that. Sounds sexy.

Can you combo off the anti-air up missile?

I've never done anything fancy with it, just the simple uppercut.

I'll experiment a bit before I play my buds.

You're all with me about having these "Scenes" look like they are pulled from a tourney match right? I think it adds more hype. I hate the stand still like a dummy they do in combo videos like what uh Hood Fresh and Tony-T do. Not bashing their vids or anything, They do some nice combos. But I think seeing a actively moving opponent and pulling your big combo off of a bait or a crazy call out is much more hype it adds a fire to the combo that isn't there with a standing dummy.
