Tremor Kombat Kast -- July 21st

Well, if NR wants to complete the color spectrum.
MK11 can have "PHLOX", a pink ninja (Is not joke, i think a plant, sleep powder, roses and spike manipulator can be badass on MK) just imagine the Fatalities and Brutalities.
The other can be a White Ninja. (The opposite of Noob Saibot), that means LIGHT, something like ASHRAH in special moves, mixed with a fast character...

The orange one....nope, i cant think on anything cool :P
Well, with pink and white you have
RED-BLUE-BROWN-GREEN-YELLOW-PURPLE-GRAY-BLACK-PINK-WHITE and Clear if you count Chamaleon

Phlox could be a gay ninja.

Oh man. That just gave me an idea for his moves.

What if that ninja (I call him Kasanova) could make the opponents balls remotely blue? Or deceive the ladies? Or when he wins his outfit could glow rainbow. He could have the best Friendships.

Haha. I want him. Make it happen.

Pink is also worn by Dan Hibiki in the Street Fighter series, for the sole purpose of demonstrating the fact that he is a JOKE. He's a parody of SNK fighting game characters that Capcom has accused of being Ryu and Ken ripoffs.

Oh right, so like Rain then.

Rain was originally meant to appear in Mortal Kombat 3, but didn't actually appear until Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Rain was originally a red herring inserted by the game developers; a character shown in the game's attract mode who did not actually exist within the game itself. A recent interview reveals that the insert was made by Ed Boon himself to intentionally trick players. Many MK fans searched for him in vain, with the eventual realization of his status as a joke character (named after a Prince song, "Purple Rain") dawning. The joke expands further when it is revealed that Rain is a "prince" himself.

It's just a colour, the street is full of people wearing pink shirts and most of them are not gay. I'll say it again, it is just a colour.

Viewtiful Jow wears some Pink, Timy Turner wears pink...And the pink panther...well, you get the point

Wha? I came up with the idea of Ghost back in the Armageddon days. Made up a story that he was one of the dead guys in the pit bottom.

Wu Lae and his clan.

latest

Bird like abilities lol

I won't judge Tremor until we've seen his gameplay, though I am not a fan of his looks. It's boring and bland, imo. But he might be fun to play as.

What exactly is "boring and bland" about him to you? His mask looks differently from everyone else's, considering the thing looks like it was crafted out of iron and a horseshoe or something, giving him that blacksmith feel. Secondly, he has that rugged stoney look to most of his body, including his face. I don't believe I've seen any video game characters that fit that model. Enlighten me?

This. Colours only mean what we want them to mean and that changes over the years. Like Marcelino Rodrigues said, pink used to be the colour for baby boys until the 40s when clothing manufacturers seemed to have arbitrarily decided that pink was a girl colour.

There a longstanding bias with the colour pink and its association with girl, gay people, etc..., but in and of itself, it's not a gendered colour at all and it's kind of presumptuous and possibly insulting to necessarily associate it with certain groups.

I actually don't like pink, nor do I wear pink, but it's really a basic idea that pink = gay. Actually, the colour that represents homosexual males is purple, not pink. And the colour that represents homosexual females is yellow LOL It's like saying women cannot wear blue. Kitana wears blue and she looks pretty feminine to me.

I don't know. It's just stupid. I'd expect grown-up boys in their 20's and 30's to be more mature at this point honestly.

I think it's more to do with people never questioning things they are used to and I would argue that's because their lives are not impacted by these biases and so they have no need to question them or have nothing to gain by questioning them. In most cases it's not willfully malicious behaviour, but simply being used to certain things being the way they are. Some people learn, some people don't or don't care to.
