A lot of people backstage were pissed at Miz since it looked like he just froze there. Any luchador can tell you that the guy on the floor is supposed to be the human crash mat for the guy doing the dive, and even if the dive goes awry you should make every effort to at least attempt to catch the poor bastard. The worst thing you can get a rep for in wrestling is to be careless since guys are trusting their bodies to their opponents, if the feeling becomes a guy can't be trusted it's the kiss of death.

How do you know they were pissed off at Miz? I need a new site for honest wrestling analysis.

Im not trying to start an argument BTW but i just wouldn't take what you hear on the rumor sites for gospel. You wouldnt believe someone coming to this forum and saying " oh i was backstage, John Laurinaitis he went mad at Miz for not catching K-Kwick".

It exactly the same concept. These sites the past few months, have proven to be less than reliable when it comes to insider sources. Accidents happen. I don't recall reading there was ever heat on Owen Hart of this kind for injuring Austin.

Fact of the matter something potentially nasty happened, Miz was involved. Apparently there is heat on Miz for the poor SS buyrate ( which i believe is nonsense BTW i dont believe hes in the dog house for a poor management decision, think of it back ten years like if Hulk Hogan came back teamed up with the Rock to take on the Too Cool in the main event of the Survior Series, not many would buy it) so this nonsense has been made up to get hits and a story.

Punk has a new shirt and I must buy it =)

Jericho/Punk feud is making me smile. SO glad they did it, I was hoping they would.

I don't go to "rumor sites", my main source of wrestling news is the Wrestling Observer. Dave Meltzer's been at it since 1983 and he has a pretty good take on what goes on behind the scenes since he routinely talks to wrestlers and members of the creative team.

Also there's the fact that it was Miz's responsibility to catch the guy and it looked like there was little attempt to try after it was clear he wasn't in the right position to do so.

Piper will always be my absolute favourite of all time but when it comes to everyone else, Punk will always win in my heart <3

that segment between shawn and hunter was amazing. wwe's writing at it's best. It was really believable that segment damn... I loved it.

I love how they are playing on their past, how Hunter went from the guy in DX who antagonized Vince to a suit wearing member of the family.

Also, I almost felt bad for Cena how while he was trying to be apologetic babyface guy but the crowd was loudly chanting "WE ALL HATE YOU". That was just brutal.

I guess they decided to give up on the WIG OF DOOM~! he wore when he came back a couple weeks ago.
Yeah im glad. If they managed some kind of hair replacement wizardry i would have been down with it, but that shit they tried was ridiculous. It was a good segment, everyone involved is been pushed to their limits. I think this weeks Raw was very good. Zack Ryders ankles bended in an unnatural fashion mind when he took that bump
