I dont think I'll stay up again for this reveal seeing as it is at 8amEST. Its 3 am right now so Im gonna set an alarm and get some sleep.

I'd play the hell out of another MK9. Greatest fighting game, greatest MK game of all time. I'd STILL be playing it everyday, except the netcode was awful, and I don't have my PS3 anymore. If they just released MK9 (same game, just prettied up with improved Netcode) for the PS4, I'd gladly pay the full $60 for it.

My one and only gripe about MKX, is that is DOES seem to play faster, and closer to Injustice (which I hated), and less like MK9. MK9's gameplay and pacing, just updated with the new roster and visuals would've been fine by me.
 
Oh god...look the same dude is here to cry about new characters..do you all realize he goes on this tirade in nearly every thread...I could seriously screen shot you this dude crying about new characters in every almost every MKX thread...pathetic ..

Definitely Ermac then. As an Ermac fan, I'm psyched. I want new characters too but because they probably wouldn't build the hype like known characters, I think they are either saving them for last or waiting til the game comes out. It's best to just have that mind set at this point.

OF ALL TIME!!

But yeah, MK9 was the truth. It was everything that I expected, and in spite of its flaws (Kung Lao and Kabal slightly overpowered, that spotty netcode), it was probably the most fun I've ever had with a game. That first 9 months or so...when the online community was heavy...I had a blast!

Is there some kind of MK9 Nostalgia Thread that I can pour these thoughts into? Now I really want to reminisce about the brilliance of MK9, but I don't want to hijack this thread. If anyone can point me to a good MK9 Appreciation Thread, I'd appreciate it.
 
Ermac's voice in MK9 was kinda sexy, pls same voice actor(s?) for MKX. Also sadly I have no answer to Ermac in MK9. I never won a match online against him. He makes me kinda salty lol
 
I really hope it´s Ermac , all the hints point straight at him. Even the videoless fatality. Too bad I´ll be stuck at work when the stream is broadcasted :(
 
I'm hoping that the 2nd part to that audio hint was a Stage Animality at The Kove, with the water / bubbles in the background.
 
I think they're going to show off a new stage since we got pics and footage of several of them. hopefully is the one that has the portal in the background.

I also wanna point out that this might be the best fighting game to date. not because everything looks flawless but because of the simple fact that they brought back running. the run button is gonna open up the gameplay vastly.
I hate how in most fighting games ppl just wait for u to jump in to counter. in mkx u can quickly get to ur opponent and start a combo if u time it right or just use the run to to fake out ur opponent and bait out a move and counter. cant wait this is going to be chess at its finest!
 
I'm not sure where I'm going to be at three today, it's weird being in a different state and waiting till' three because it won't be three where I'm at, it'll be four.

Timezones, man.
 
If it is Ermac and the leaked art does have anything to do with it... It looks like they are going with the Legacy 2 style Ermac. He sounded like MK9, but looked more like a raggedy Demon.

EDIT: I think I misunderstood your post. Did you mean, the concept art was inspired by the Legacy look?
