A 6 min prologue to The dark knight rises was shown at the IMAX showings of the mission impossible movie about a month ago, and I just came to know about it now. :laugh:

For those who weren't aware of it as well, here it is


I see a lot of inception effects in it. :p

so that's the clip everyone was talking about. Glad to finally see it. The only thing that was ever brought up when mentioning it was always Bane's voice though. And it's true, I really dont like it all that much either. And I know this particular video has a lower sound pitch, but his overall voice still sounds too nasaly and muffled. But I've also heard rumors that they might be going back and tweaking with his voice.

Still though, it's a badass intro to a surely badass movie. Really looking forward to it

Yea, I too wish Bane's voice is tweeked to the point that it is understable and hopefully they won't have to but sub titles and ruin it. Also that video is actually a slowed down version of the original. His voice is worse than that.

Another thing which Im not too fond of in Nolan's Batman movies are the fight scenes. Why can't they just show how the fights are fought rather than revolving the camera all around and going back and forth with shots from various angles making it look very confusing.

Any of you guys heard of this? Batman is charged for 6 counts of murder, among other crimes. It also includes addresses where batman graffiti is located in the real world. 10 are in my state, 5 about an hour or so away.

Yeah the scavenger hunt was leading up to this. I am beyond psyched to see this movie. I can't wait to see Bane and Batman go at it.

That is a much better trailer than the second one imo and looks like cat woman has more of a positive role. Can't wait for July 20th. :p

after seeing the new trailer, it seems Nolan took the fans advice and went back and fixed Bane's voice. He actually sounds scary now. I saw the trailer in theatres too, and it really added to the effect. Much like the movie will. So glad to see that was fixed.

Looks great so far.

I'm looking forward to seeing it as well. The final conclusion to what will lead to Batman, becoming the true savior of Gotham City. The Dark Knight will rise again.

Seeing that trailer kinda got me thinking, perhaps we may see Azrael from comics since it looks like the movie will be heavily based on the comic knightfall. For people who don't know, Azrael is the guy who filled in for Batman when Bane broke his back. Also the character played by Gordon Levitt is John, same as Azrael.

My expectations for Anne Hathaway as Catwoman are so low that she can't disappoint me. She could be a good Selina Kyle but not Catwoman she just don't have the swagger that she has. Imo.

I just finished up watching the avengers movie and damn now I'm ready for the new Batman sucks I'm forced to wait for two fn months ugh....

I really doubt that won't be implemented at some point.

But I could also say "looks like Nolan's Bane isn't gonna incorporate that green ooze "Venom" to get strong.

He may be using it differently in this movie. He might be using the venom to make people fear him by destroying things and in turn making him appear strong and still be mentally stable? So it's technically doing the same thing, it's just not the venom drug like in the comics but a weapon, Idk just a theory.

It gives Bane more of the master mind quality and less of the mind less thug feel like when he's on Venom. That imo is a good thing. An it's not really tricking people into thinking he's strong. It's showing he can be a juggernut and beat you mentality. lol just a opinion.
