Batman looks like he got the crap beat out of him. Perhaps that is the part where Bane breaks his back as he did in Knightfall?

Knowing Nolan, that won't happen, but Batman is still wearing his costume from the Dark Knight. This means that that scene is early on in the movie because Nolan said that there would be a redesign for the batsuit(once again) and a new batmobile design.

Wow, it's a little chilling to see Batman pushed to his physical limits. Scarecrow pushed his fear, Joker pushed his limits(mind) and Bane will push him physically. Also, I'm quite curious what happened to Gordon to cause him to be hospitalized, and I still can't understand most of what Gordon was saying. HD is much better, though.

If Bane doesn't break his back it will be the most disappointing thing since ... well ... ever

It would be cool if Nolan decides to break Batman's back like in the comics, but I know Nolan;it's most likely not going to happen. Nolan likes the characters, but he likes to do something new and different than the comic storyline. Often times it is something darker and unexpected, so perhaps Catwoman shows up and saves Batman. Actually, that's a little lame, but Nolan most likely won't follow the knightfall storyarc.

It would be awesome, though.

she usually handles herself pretty well. I can see her being captured by bane at the end possibly, but she kicks most everyones ass without batman's aid


the damsel got burnt to a crisp in the last movie, so I dont think you have to worry
 
5 Reasons The Dark Knight Rises Will Suck

1. Villain selection. Bane was created for a publicity stunt aound 92' 93'. DC comics Gained National Attention for Killing Superman the year before. Even Time Magazine and Dan Rather took Notice. Batman sales were in decline and they decided to try the same thing. Bane was to dethrone Batman and keep kids buying books to see who would were the cowl next. He has been a throw-away Character ever since and rarely used. We all know how well he was represented in the 1997 film. someone best said he looks like a wwf reject. Catwoman Has been overused in Bat-films and even a spinoff film with Halle Berry. While Noone will be able to replace The Ultasexy sensual Julie Newmar in my book Nolan chose a surprising Chic Flick actress who is best Known For "The Princess Diaries" and "The Devil wears Prada" I am highly skeptical she can pull this roll off. On the flipside if anyone was to do good with the D-list Villain Bane, Its Tom Hardy.
2. The Third Film curse. Nolan has been given God like power and is unquestioned in his decisions. Spiderman 3 comes to mind and we have rumors of Liam Neeson and maybe even more cameos from Batmans worlds famous rogues gallery from Dr. Strange To even a Joker walk on.
3. The Dark Knight Can't likely be beat by this film. True The death of ledger may have "amplified" the film but it was a pretty Damn good Movie and one of the Best of 2008 and maybe even the last 10 years.
4.Bane Might bee too obscure of a villain for Casual Fans and moviegoers overall. They just might see him as a generic steroid freak.
5. Much of the script has been revealed over the internet through the many set-leaks and pics surfacing everywhere. Ok we know Bane Blows up (Pittsburgh Steelers) Heinz field with his own tumblers...Thanks leaks I did not want to know that. At least with TDK i did not know anything. Nolan cant keep a secret on the set. I am glad to know i am not alone on the Anne Hathaway Catwoman pic, many are very upset about this pic and the 1st trailer in general. Just listen too Banes Voice too
*Its ok If u disagree with me, I wont' be offended. I hope u are right and I am wrong. But a lot of people like to tell me "you second guessed Ledgers casting, trust nolan" but u can not capture lightning in a bottle twice. It does not mean necessarily will Rock. *

Bane may be a strange choice but he is pretty awesome. He is huge and is known for breaking Batman's back. Have you seen him in Arkam Asylum? He is krazy big and buff.

I think Nolan kan pull it off.

Nolan is one of the best directors to come out in the past few decades. He is a genius if anyone can take bane a c-list villain and make him a household name its nolan.

bane was a bit of an odd choice i thought i would have rather of seen killer-croc or the riddler or maybe even clayface. with that being said, i have faith with nolan.

Batman Returns is still my favorite batman movie. Gotta love Danny DeVito. Not even dark knight can compete with that movie.


I dont think The Dark Knight Rises will suck, I dont think it will be as good as the dark knight. And So far I dont like how bane looks. The overcoat and wierd mask just arent cutting out for me. And they should have made him Mexican. But instead Nolan used another ****ing actor actor from Inception. (you'd think 6 actors would be enough but I guess not)


Only time will tell though. So far I dont like what I see, but I'm sure it will get better

people were wanting Johnny Depp to play Riddler, and it could have worked actaully.


But I have a gut feeling that the Riddler might be in this movie. Remember that whimpy guy who knew Bruce Wayne's secret and everyone wanted to kill in the Dark Knight? Even though name was Coleman Reece, and not Edward Nigma. I could see them making him the riddler. It would piss off alot of people cause that's not his real name, but I could see them doing that for some reason.

I wish his name had been Edward Nigma, cause his situation where he knows who batman really is could have set up a major plot in the Dark Knight Rises. Oh well

Riddler would've been even worse than Bane, IMO. He's too similar to the Joker. Personally, I'm not excited for this at all, especially since this is a threequel. It's probably going to be a pile of shit, like I said before.

Carreys Riddler was awful, I am sure he played him homoerotic on Schumacher request and those Schumacher films had a lot of Homosexual tones in it. I am pretty sure Schumacher is gay himself. Not that i care to find out or that there is something wrong with it. It just sent batman 50 years back on film. I found his riddler to be a mix of original actor of Frank Gorshin gay. Maybe a little on Meth too. Hated the costumes in those films. Hated two face too. Most of all hated the new theme opposed to danny elfmans. I left the theatre feeling like i was at Batmans Funeral In 1995. More kid friendly i guess
