^This is a good point. As my second favourite character, I can't deny it's kind of a bummer that Noob probably won't be in. At this stage though, if he were included then his moves would be way too similar to those of Scorpion and Quan Chi, as you say. On the bright side though, I'm pretty psyched by the prospect of a wraith-like Sub Zero. Those otherwordly eyes have said wraith to me from the beginning.
Which brings us to another point. If Hanzo has 'conquered' Scorpion, I can only imagine that the threat Scorpion's return to supremacy will be a major plot point, either that or it has already happened by the end of the comics' arc.
So what was the true nature of Noob Saibot then? Perhaps like Scorpion, Noob Saibot is just an exaggeration of Bi Han's evil tendencies; his native cruelty having been amplified by Quan Chi's magic or as a side effect of being in the Netherrealm. So hopefully, we haven't seen the last of Noob Saibot either.
