MAJOR SPOILER Regarding Scorpion's Chapter

It's the final to Scorpion's Chapter for those who have seen the first 8 mins (Where he reconciles with Kuai Liang). I'll put the rest into context very briefly, Jax has brought Quan Chi from the netherrealm back to earthrealm in chains more or less and Scorpion has learned both the Truth from Kuai Liang and his location. Johnny has tried to stop him as has Kenshi and now Hanzo after his final fight with Quan Chi finally has him where he wants him

I haven't seen all endings yet but it seems some of them don't contradict anything previously established in canon.Maybe some endings are canon this time around?

I particularly liked Kitana's, where it states she actually survived Armageddon and led Edenia's army against Shao Kahn.Now did we see her dead body in MK9's intro?

If we didn't, this ending can be considered at least semi-canon.

EDIT: Checked it, Kitana's body is next to Kung Lao.Non-canon ending or retcon.

There were a few endings like that in MK9 as well, Kung Lao and Smoke for example, where they just end up learning of their origins as descendant of the Great Kung Lao and as an Enenra respectively.

Also that Kitana ending was just a vision her demonic self had of what could have been, not a recton lol.

I hate that Jade is just standing there in that ending and the narrator gives no context. Is she trying to make Kitana hate Raiden? Is she trying to make Kitana good again? There's NO explanation

What? No. I wouldn't take any of the mirror match dialogues seriously, unless you're also gonna believe Cassie has a hidden twin and Raiden is the Protector of Chaosrealm.

True and I completely understand its more for the entertaining factor. But it seems that some of the dialogues between characters can be cannon. I only liked it bc its my favorite character and its an interesting way for his character to live on!

But like i said i understand its most likely not.

I wonder if Jade's non-Revenant look is supposed to tell us that she somehow escaped because we don't hear anything about her the whole game. I don't think she's making Kitana hate Raiden though, it seems more like she's doing something that causes Kitana to have that vision. The hatefulness towards Raiden is probably stemming from being a Revenant.

I hope Ferra/Torr's ending isn't canon. I don't want a big Ferra if they're in the next game. Their species is quite interesting, though.
