Rest of chapter 7 is Takeda beating Kotal's dudes as Cassie's team escapes the Kove.
Chapter 8 is Jax. He's unretired and meeting with Sareena in the Netherrealm. Reveants ambush them. He beats Kung Lao, Kitana, Sindel and Quan Chi. Quan Chi is captured and brought back to base. Liu Kang and the other revenants escape.
Chapter 9 is Scorpion. He hears about Quan Chi and goes to kill him. Frost attacks him. He makes peace with Sub-Zero when Sub-Zero shows him Quan's treachery on scrap metal Sektor's holodisk, and they kill Quan Chi together.
Chapter 10 is Raiden. In the Sky Temple, he talks to Bo' Rai Cho about Kung Lao and Liu Kang and how hw regrets what happened. Flashback to pre-MK9, where they beat Baraka's ass. D'Vorah releases Shinnok from the amulet as the jinsei is corrupted. Raiden is killed by the corruption. This is the big red cloud from the trailers. Cassie's team spots it in and heads to investigate.
Chapter 11 is Jacqui. Kotal's group ambushes Cassie's in the woods. Jacqui beats Ermac and some others.
Final chapter is Cassie Cage. She reaches the Sky Temple and fights revenants with her team. Her parents arrive. Johnny is almost killed. Like in chapter 1, but reversed, she saves Johnny from Shinnok by getting the unknown green ability. She beats demon Shinnok.
Ending: Takeda and Jacqui are an item. Kotal is Emperor of Outworld. When the jinsei is rebalanced, Raiden comes back. Shinnok, being immortal, is decapitated by Raiden, now a dark vigilante that will wreck people's shit without warning if they threaten Earthrealm. He brings the head to the new leaders of the Netherrealm, Liu Kang and Kitana, as a warning, and is now in possession of Shinnok's amulet.
