What's with all the confusion? I thought it was blatantly obvious, lol.
Havik is not the blood god, but he has corrupted the blood magic and is the demon that Raiden has been referring to.
See, Raiden performed a ritual to make the kamidaggers (I'm stealing this, Yellow Ledbetter) work as keys for the hiding place of Shinnok's amulet. Havik, wanting something to do with Shinnok's amulet, took note of Raiden's ritual (which involved a blood sacrifice) and corrupted the magic surrounding it. After this, Havik was able to influence people through the daggers.
The blood god is something else entirely. It's whatever Kotal gained his temporary power from. It may even be a vacant title.
Well, though it wasn't clear until Harpoon told me, I think it makes sense, but I still think that's all a construction of our knowledge. I mean, that is true, but wasn't that well told.
 about Kamidaggers, I can be the Silver Surfer of this expression, because it's so awesome, I like saying that. But Galactus is Zolag!
Now, you lifted something important.
Kotal Kahn offered his blood to become, temporarily, the Blood God. He did that on pure blood magic, no corruption.
But Raiden's ritual, the one the Elder Gods perfomed, is not that simple. He was clear that the blood of a god is needed.
So, I really don't have idea how Havik is possessing people, I don't even think this is an innate ability.
And, seriously, to possess Raiden? He is using some very powerful thing to do that. Considering the blood magic is from the One Being, it's like Havik is dealing with itself.
But let's assume Havik wants The Amulet. He still needs a god to access the ultimate Kamidogu. I wonder...how?
