Interesting. Yeah. I hope too. I suppose they'll try to have him in the comics a month or so before he's released as DLC to hype up the DLC and bring him into perspective. I know many casuals have no clue about him. Hell, I even know some who didn't recognize Tanya. But I think that's an advantage. Clean slate. I wonder what his story will be and how much will they change it. DLC design is more less final I presume, but there's still a lot time left, so perhaps not entirely...

Really? Just Tanya, none of the others? It would be a dream come true if all the DLC's played some role in the story...it only makes sense too!

From credible sources?

I find it hard to imagine that they would put Tanya into story mode with that obviously unfinished model - or, if they have a more complete one, why they didn't use that for the trailer.

Well Skarlet was in MK9 and before she was DLC, her model was relatively generic.

Yeah, but she was just in the background. She didn't have any lines or anything. I can see Tanya getting that kind of cameo in MKX, sure, but is that even worth getting excited about for a Tanya fan? That's like a Johnny Cage fan getting excited about the tombstone cameo he has in MK vs DCU. :laugh:

LOL, true enough. I think some diehards would be happy though, just at the mere thought of NRS having her in the game at some level before the DLC decision.
 
I believe it was someone on here, maybe someone posted a "leak" in the media thread. But I usually wave off those leaks and rumours until there's some official confirmation.

my assumption would be that she would have a different look like lei mei did. if lei mei is dlc she wont look like the civilian that we saw.

But why make two separate models for the same character? That's double the effort for... what? A cameo? The thing is, I don't expect Li Mei to be DLC, precisely for this reason. (Well, that and that nobody really cares about her.)
 
Hm... so the fight is the week after this issue. Perhaps that may be a good thing as we'd hear a bunch of dialogue in this week's issue, and it may give a lot of story context. I'm hoping Kuai's transition back to a human is discussed in Sunday's issue.

I don't think we're going to learn about Sub-Zero's no longer being a cyborg until Chapter 16--that's his Sekret Origin chapter.
 
I just wanna warn you guys that Sub-Zero is possessed and as far as we know he will be ok in the game.

By the time the digital issue of #16 is out, it will be Sunday April 19th.
By then I would have had MKX for 5 days and would have found out how Sub-Zero becomes un-cyber in the MKX game story.
I'm pretty sure that his Sekret Origin chapter will be more of what happened around the time that Sub-Zero killed Scorpion.
I seriously doubt that they would leave that type of info (him becoming un-cyber) out of the game, just the same way that I doubt that they would leave info about Kitana and Kung Lao becoming alive again out of the game.
