didn't think of that, you're right.. when we first heard that line I thought Raiden was just being cheesy about thunder blocking out the sun lol

As for the next issue, I wonder if Kano is going to kill Mavado. If that happens then Red Dragon is down to Daegon. I feel like even though Red Dragon is playing a role in comics, that we may not hear about them at all in the games story.

Very nice preview. Told you guys this wasn't Scorpion fap, but important info.

They retconned his death on the Shaolin Temple, AS IT SEEMS.

Notice that they are on his village, similar to what the "blood demon" faked.

That explains why his last vision was of his family frozen.

Of course they didn't retcon Quan Chi's responsability.

And very good to reafirm that Scorpion isn't Quan Chi's revenant. I liked he said he was a volunteer. That's why Quan Chi could never strip him from his powers.

This also explains a little about what happens when you die and go to the Netherrealm. He was just like he was alive, but let his soul be consumed by evil.

Takashi takeda is a cyborg in the game! That's why he's got all that armor. Raiden messed that pour kid up. Kenshi is going to be pissed and join Kung Lao and lu kang to bash Raidens skull in. I bet you Raiden already killed fujin so count that dude out.

The description for chapter 11 says that Raiden eventually snaps out of it and both him and Scorp go to the Netherrealm to find Takeda ('s soul?)

This might actually be why they search for Sub Zero, to get him to Cyber-ize Takeda's body Since it's effed up.
 
I don't really think he is cyber. I think he uses technology.

Probably this "demon" will have something to do with Takeda on the Netherrealm.

It's so funny to see Scorpion fighting calm :laugh:
 
Wait a minute, Sub Zero ACTUALLY killed his family now? Why would Quan Chi leave that loophole there? What the Hell?

Are they going with the Legacy approach and having it be the doing of both Shang Tsung AND Quan Chi??? WTF

He didn't kill his family. Remember he said "that it's not me".

The only explanation is the Legacy like thing. Quan Chi disguised as Sub-Zero killed Hanzo and his family.

Yes, but I think the image showed us Quan Chi as Sub-Zero.

It's funny if they retcon that Sub-Zero had no guilty at all. That would make Quan Chi more of an a-hole than ever.

And maybe Hanzo and Bi-Han (or even Kuai Liang) could stop all that BS once and for all.

Seems like it, to me.

I haven't even read #10 and I'm already looking forward to Chapter 11.
Maybe we'll finally get a freakin' answer to which Sub-Zero this is.
