SPOILER ALERT:Mortal Kombat X DIGITAL COMIC DISCUSSION

I just watched Raidens Intro with Kotal.

Funny thing...it was revealed months ago about Kotal drawing power from the Sun before the Comic Issue mentioned it! Nothing spectacular, just found it amusing!

Kotal Kahn: You have no chance Thunder God
Raiden: Thunder blocks out the Sun <--- Possible reference to Kotals powers
Kotal Kahn: Temporarily <---- Kotal uses Blood God Variation...Interesting

Wow, so we're getting chapter 10 this weekend, followed by chapters 11 and 12 only three days later.

I'll do the summary again if #4 makes it to my comic store and no one does it before me. You guys want me to do it as I read (trickle of info) or wait until I read it first (everything at once, but 30+ minute wait)?

Now that you mention it, I wonder if different variations have different intro lines between the same characters.

For example: I wonder if Stormlord Raiden says something differently to Cryomancer Sub-Zero than Displacer Raiden would say to Unbreakable Sub-Zero.

No, I doubt it. The lines spoken are based on whether they speak first or second and that depends, apparently, on a random or unknown variable.

If you want proof, listen to what different variations of D'Vorah and Kano say to each other in the Kano trailer and in the Brutality stream: the same thing. That's not to say they don't have different dialogues, only that variations have nothing to do with it.
 
Lucky Bastard... I really need to tome down, I wanna read a comic for ONCE instead of spoilering myself with details on Saterday before it comes out... but I can never restrain myself from doing so...

I just hope there are multiple Intro Dialogues! Regardless of the Variation.
I mean it was said thats there is over a 100+ Brutalities, Im sure there can be many. many MANY Intro's
 
Ermac + Scorpion already have 3 different intro-talks, that is one more than I was expecting, I thought everyone only had two together, but Ermac and Scorpion (or quan chi vs raiden, can't remember which) just proved me wrong (Gladly, the more the better)
 
Guys, chapter 11 and 12 will be the most important chapters on the comics so far.

It's possible that we will figure out more of the trailer because we will know exactly what is "the curse of the Kamidogu/blood code".

I think we are finally going to the core of the story.
