The webseries description says Takeda is telekinetic. And we don't really know how magic sword powers work... after Kenshi's abilities were awakened, it may have become a genetic thing.

Regardless, I think having both telekinesis and sword(s?) doesn't mean Takeda has to be a Kenshi clone at all, especially with training from Scorpion.
 
So far it seems like Reiko and Mileena have more allies so far.

Kotal Kahn allies:

Erron Black
Ferra & Torr
D'Vorah
Kano (going by his vs intro with D'Vorah)
Reptile

Reiko & Mileena allies:

Baraka (Most likely)
Goro
Kintaro
Rain
Red Dragon
Sheeva
Skarlet (Same with Baraka)

I'm not sure what side will Ermac will be on.
 
Ermac is on Kotal's side going by his intro.

And I don't know if Kintaro and Sheeva are on Mileena's side. The comics mention Kintaro leading an uprising. Plus only Goro went after Mileena, so Kintaro and the other Shokan are still at Kotal's place.
 
Judging by Kotal and Ermac's dialogue, Ermac is on his side. Also not really sure it's safe to assume Skarlet is with Mileena, and I think Kintaro is going to be on Gorbak's side, which might be its completely own thing depending on what happens with Goro.

If Jax is in then Jaqui is most definitely in, there would be no point in them giving us her background in the comic if she's not going to be in the game.
 
Who thinks Goro is gonna die?

I mean, it's certain that he and Kotal will battle sometime in the next two chapters, since the issue cover is Goro vs. Kotal.

Kotal is definitely surviving either way, and if he wins he's not gonna let Goro live after what Goro has done.

So I see either two scenarios playing out: 1) Goro gets his ass beat, but escapes/is rescued, 2) Goro is killed.

I think it's the latter since Gorbak is attacking Kotal in the coming issues and it could be because Kotal killed his son. Plus, Goro is only DLC.
 
Ok so I reread the comic and i fell like an ass because i noticed something that i didn't at first.

So apparently Goro was maybe/possible on Kotals side but Kotal sent him after Mileena in the Golden Dessert! (Thats the part I completely missed when reading this. I think i was just excited the read through it i obviously didn't pay attention) The Later pages in the comic make sense now. Once again i feel like and idiot, but we're on on the same page now LMAO!

"Goro is no mans Ratcatcher"- Yet he is siding with Mileena and taking orders!?!?!

You would think he would side with Kotal, bc Kotal seems to have a moral code/honor which we know Goro does too. So thats definitely interesting.

Comic Story I think Goro is going to Best Kotal Kahn, which may explain his "Rise & Fall" but in the game, i think maybe quite possibly Goro might fall...Permanently

I like your one scenario where Goro could be beat, survive and escape and as far as the comics go, we won't hear from him anymore. But his return/continuation of his and Kotals rivalry will continue in the Games Story!

I think it's because Mileena treats Goro with the respect he deserves while Kotal made him a mere henchman.

I think Goro will get killed. And Reiko will take the throne some way.

Something nobody thought before, what if Kotal is the guy Shao Kahn stated to be his succesor in case he died? That would make Mileena a real usurper, so Ermac (if Shao's soul has control over him) would side Kotal.

Unlikely though.
 
Mark my words, Goro will not die.

He may appear dead at one point, but he'll be back. With some sort of bullshit story about how he never really died.

Again, the trailer says "Goro Lives". Why would they lie?
