SPOILER ALERT:Mortal Kombat X DIGITAL COMIC DISCUSSION

Except for the part where Takeda AND Kenshi are apparently both in the digital series, which I am ENTIRELY convinced takes place after the game's story mode.

Maybe he appears in flashbacks. LOL I was just speculating. I really hope Kenshi is in.

I'd be rather miffed if Takeda will be in the game and NOT Kenshi, but then have Cassie along with both Sonya and Johnny... That would be playing favourites beyond unfairness.

Yes, and we already know Cassie is a blend between Sonya and Johnny. Now Takeda can be anything, we don't know how he fights so him and Kenshi can be really different therefore they could include both of them.

What MAY end up happening is Kenshi winding up being a skin for Takeda complete with his own announcer clip.

Though Im sure he would still use the same moves and fatalities as he would be just a skin.

That would suck so bad...

Takeda is a new char, I have my faith on NRS being original and doing a great unique character out of him, no TK and no sword if it's possible.

Besides if Takeda is a telekinetic swordsman he won't be as awesome a Kenshi because let's face it, Kenshi is blind... that makes him a hundred times more awesome.

However, she isn't though.

What do you mean by that?

What?
Yes she is.
She has a mixture of both moves and even their attitudes and appearances combined.

*facepalm*
Not this discussion again.
None of her moves are copied over from either Johnny or Sonya. It has been proven several times on this forum, every time this discussion is up. Several of those who have actually played the game and used Cassie has confirmed this to be true.

She isn't a clone of either, but to say she isn't a mashup isn't true either. She has a Shadow Cartwheel, has the Shadow Kick as a string ender and does both the Kiss of Death and Nut Punch in her X-Ray. She has her own unique style, but the majority of it comes from her parents no doubt.

I imagine it takes place during, same as the comic; there's an episode with a five year-old Cassie. They also wouldn't spoil the game's story like that. But yeah, Takeda being in both the comic and webseries makes it pretty clear that he's going to be playable.

Chapter 8's description is up, although it doesn't tell us much.

In an act of desperation, Kotal Kahn resorts to dangerous blood magic to take down the insurgents. But will it be enough to finish Outworld's champion?

Aha! I knew it! I was RIGHT about the blood magic thing! Although the bit about the insurgents is new, I'm guessing these descriptions get changed up the closer we get to each chapter.

Do you mean like the descriptions we already have change? They don't. This is a brand-new description, Chapter 8 hasn't had one before now.

MK Online is where I read this one WAY ahead of time. I think it was when chapter 2 or 3 was out.

Either way I'm not bullsh!tting here cause this was the basis for my argument on why I thought Kotal Kahn's alignment was a bit iffy cause he "resorts" to using blood magic. It was like a week ago or so when I posted that too in the Kotal Kahn to be ornot to be thread.

I think Kotal is just a Machiavelli fanatic.

I've suggested various times that the Kamidogu blood magic could be the source of his power in the"Blood God" variation.

^^EXACTLY what I've been thinking, myself!^^

I also believe the knife/dagger he uses to cut himself/in his X-ray is the Outworld Kamidogu.
