wait, Zasalamel isnt in this game?!

why not, he's one of my favorites and the only character added after 2 that I liked.

im glad that they already posted the first 3 packs of dlc, that means that they're working on dlc characters as we speack. Zas,yun,seong mina and talim are the most requested. but this is a perfect time for them to introduce "Bangoo" Rock's son, he could turn out being an amazing character, he's another one thats been highly requested.

Yea I'm kinda disappointed about Zasalamel not being on the basic roster. Maybe he will be a secret character or something. Anyway, I can't wait to use the Devil Jin style for a custom character, it seems really cool.

I'm not defending it either, theres something I really dont like about the whole game as well. But I'd just like to know. I mean I'll still give it a try because I like the way the games play, but somethings just wrong about it for me as well.
 
Ivy's alternate outfit fits her perfectly. She's like the sexy version of Cruela Devile with all thet fur (something I'd wear when it's cold). ;-)
 
Just bought it, will play it tonight after work. Hopefully, I won't try to get rid of it after a week or 2. First goal is to main Ezio

Don't ever follow metacritic scores. Most of them are payed off.

Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age 2 got the scores they did because EA paid off IGN and Gamespot, etc.

Soul Calibur V is simply something you'd just have to try out yourself. Better of looking at player scores.
 
Just got this from red box. All I can say is, if you liked the last game you will like this one. I honestly did not like this game. It was an upgrade from the last but I felt like I got the Capcom rip off on this.
 
Soul Calibur just doesn't really stand out for me like other fighters.

MK has its gore.
SF has its art style.
Tekken has it's mechanics.

When I think of Soul Calibur I just think of another fighting game :/

To put some icing on the cake...

Soul Calibur's story is interesting, but it's very inconsistent. Just like Street Fighter and King of Fighters.

MK, Tekken and KI are the only fighting games with remotely consistent story lines. DOA? Forget about it.
