SoulCalibur V Confirmed

I will NOT be purchasing this title.3 mimic characters is a little much I don't see why kilik needed to be ruined by being turned into a mimic. I will keep my memories of SC4 and namco can keep this ridiculous game.
 
I actually love mimic characters, since me and my friend love to play the game in Vs. mode, and playing as mimic characters makes the games more fun.

I got the same feeling. Even if they have the ass ass sins creed dude in there, I dont think it will be enough. I'll either rent it or wait for a price drop myself. I've been a long time fan of the series, and even if I feel that its growing stale, its not doing anything horribly wrong either, so why not check it out.

Soul Calibur is not enough to stay at 60 for as long as other games

Not that it's a bad game. I like it.

yeah i completely agreed, i should be flipping out but im not because kilik is my fav and now he's a mimic, im still going to create young kilik, plus i always create bruce lee with maxi's style and he's still in it looking better than ever. not only this but the gameplay looks way better than previous sc and the inclusion of brave edge and critical edges wow thats just the icing on the cake, the meter makes it an even more strategic game as well (tournament worthy). it even has a story mode now.

plus i heard that the game was supposed to release in march or april but they cut it short because of the monster SF x Tekken is dropping that month, so most likely we will see talim,zas,yun and others as dlc down the line. cant wait till next week!!

I watched a little of the livestream on IGN earlier today. I was on the fence about getting this. Now I am leaning of getting off the fence and not even bothering and just waiting for DOA5. This SoulCal looked kind of boring, maybe it was just the players, but I will still look more into it when time comes closer.
 
I'm not familiar with the series at all, I was going to pick this up just for Ezio, but the gameplay videos are telling me not to. I'm not too impressed by the character designs.

this is the pre-release party that they are having today in san fran, the live stream will start at 6pm, this is in cali time so it will be 9pm here on the eastcoast. maybe im excited because im a big soulcalibur fan (soulcalibur and shenmu are my fav games from dreamcast) but i have a feeling that ppl will appreciate it once the game drops, they perfected the gameplay mechanics. this one seems to play better than 2 imo.

is messed up because the party is 21 and up haha, they are screwing half of their fans, i just hope the good players dont get too drunk that they start whiffing supers and dropping combos lol, it should be fun, i want to see great cervantes and aeon players.
