SoulCalibur V Confirmed

Well I guess that rules out Spawn and our beloved Necrid out :(

We know it wont be Dante if he said they were never in a fighting game, also no Kratos.

So it must be FF.

Oh well, as long as I have my teddy bear:

Unfortunately, no Necrid is a given. He is and will be forever a one-hit wonder of a character. :( Profound Sadness!

astaroth kicked ass, he was my favorite along with Necrid. I love how ridiculously long his range was with his axe.

I thought he was the coolest in Soul calibur 2, with the grasshopper executioner hat. then again everyone looked kickass in part 2, unlike now:-|

Her weapon style is very similar to Taki, too similar.... I hope they don't plan on replacing Taki :sad:

Pretty surprised how Ivy is actually wearing more clothing here than in SCIV. I was expecting her to lose even more clothing, but I guess not. They probably did so, due to complaints from how she was dressed in last game. I was honestly hoping she would lose more clothing now, but oh well.
 
did anyone hear, they replaced Taki with a new blonde ninja :( & Sophitia won't be playable. i'm actually pretty upset they are taking my favourite character out.

on the bright side, i'll get over it & main Pyrrah. & i love Ivy's new outfit!!
 
Taki's replacement looks like what would happen if Setsuka had a baby with a rooster as the father. So gross. I hate SLUTsuka enough as it is, that shameless Mitsurugi clone.

Soul Calibur IV put a very bad taste in my mouth for the franchise.

SCII is by far the best of the series. It was the most balanced, and was much more fluid compared to SCIV.

On side note: If you main Kilik, Voldo, Heishiro, Yun-Sung or Maxi. You're a b*tch. Sorry, but those characters are SO scrubby and low. They literally require no skill.
Kilik's method: poke, poke, poke, sweep, repeat.
Voldo's method: press buttons wildly=win.
Heishiro's method: rush, V, V, sidestep, H, H, repeat.
Yun-Sung's method: This has been explained...
Maxi's method: Isn't it obvious? He's banned for use in tournements for a f*cking reason.

On the otherhand: I greatly respect people who play Sophitia, Cassandra, Taki, Astaroth, Xianghua, Rock, Raphael and Hilde. These characters actually require a bit of practice to use effectively.

I'll admit it though. I'm a hypocritical b*tch, I use Heishiro. lol. Gotta love the samurai. Taki will always be my favorite though. I'll use Raphael at times, but I can't get him down as good as others can. Cassandra is my best character by far, but not my favorite.

This is all going off of IV. After having much play time with IV, I've grown to hate it so much. A lot of cheap characters and I didn't even name all of them.

This is just my opinion, however. Take it for what it's worth. Agree to disagree if you must.
