Didn't Johnny Cage have some blue accents in his pants in his MK2 outfit? Maybe they could be referring to Sonya as Lime and Johnny Cage as Blueberry?

well the last 2 dlc's gave klassic skins to those who were similar to each other. sektor and cyrax. noob and smoke.
My first thought too, but now I'm thinking it is Sonya & Cage. Blueberry is throwing me off...

The reason I'm posting this in the Rain thread is because I'm not sure if they made a mistake or not. Why would they show exclusive footage of Kenshi in MK9 when he's already been out for a few days? I also find it odd that they say Arkham Asylum and not its successor, Arkham City. Could they mean exclusive footage of Rain, the successor to Kenshi as the latest DLC character? Or what? Guess we'll find out in a few hours!

I really doubt they will show rain, they will most likley keep advertising Kenshi for a while. showing one character right efter the other is highly unlikley
Well Rain is supposed to be out this month so I suppose the first trailer shouldn't be too far off. Butyea it does seem strange that they would label the footage exclusive when that's kinda impossible since everyone has him. Then again it could just be error on the part of whoever wrote it up.

blueberry could be cage/raiden and lime could be sonya/shang tsung. cage/sonya would make sense, they were featured in the latest videos too. btw does anyone have a link for Boon's thing today and when it should start? when as in, how many hours from now, I'm too bored to do converting to my local time 
also, it's not impossible to show Rain, his video should come out soon anyway and after all , he has been the most requested DLC character so maybe they'll promote Rain more than the other DLC characters

Hmm... I can only see these nicknames being given to ninja, considering what has come before now. Ketchup & Mustard, Salt & Pepper... characters that were classically separated in appearance only by their colour. I'd have to agree with Nightmare, and say that "Blueberry and Lime" will be Kitana and Jade. MK2 costumes, I guess...

how would that make sense though? not that it couldn't be those two, but we're talking about characters that already got retro costumes as well. if we assume it's them, then we could also assume NRS will keep giving us ninja retro ones until they are done and then move on to other characters. but that wouldn't make sense.. it would make much more sense actually to stop ninja retros now, give each other character one classic and then either start over with 'new' retros for ninjas and then the normal characters or brand new costumes for each. it doesn't really make sense for them to give costumes for kitana, jade, scorpion etc then again kitana, jade, scorpion etc and then sonya, jax, cage etc and AGAIN sonya, jax, cage etc, it would be kinda tiring/boring, plus not good for marketing reasons

I hope Ed shows Rain and gives a date. It's the perfect time to do it. If he don't show Rain, the least he could do is say what costumes come with him.
