Quan Chi Revealed

I'm not going to try to figure out who's who with that boot picture, however I've been seeing people speculating that one of the boots could belong to this guy:

Because they think this guy is similar to this guy:

Thus making whoever owns this boot:

Belongs to him.

But, since Quan Chi's boot has been shown to be boot number one, we're gonna get the answers no matter what.

You know, I actually dig the look a lot for Quan Chi... Weird choice with the belts on his stomach but I like it.

The second one looks like Voldo from Soul Calibur.

Seems like the guy in the comic would have more straps on his boot, though, if he's the same guy from the concept drawing, IMO.
 
I'd rather just wait for them to reveal the next character than over speculating a comic that ties in with the story of the game.

Neither concept intrigues me enough to be all giddy and assume he (or possibly she) will be the next reveal. If he (or she) is, I'll wait for a trailer to impress me.

Besides, I still wanna talk about ole' baldie.
 
The meta is different.
They are blockable, they don't OTG and evasions are punished easier.


Much less powerful
 
Lol I'm just saying that from a competitive standpoint that the interactables are night and day.
Throwing a fruit basket isn't the same as hurling a tracking, unblockable projectile that hits OTG for unscaled damage.

I actually worded what I meant wrong. The interactables are in fact similar to a degree, but the way they'll be used is completely different.

Right. That footwear kind of reminds me of what Taki (Soul Calibur) wears. If it'll be a ninja/kunoichi character, it's most likely Tanya, Mileena, or Khameleon. Maybe Kitana or Jade too if they ressurected from the dead.

I don't see Sareena, Nitara, nor Li Mei as ninjas/kunoichis.

When I saw the shoe, i automatically thought Tanya. I have no idea why because she wears boots. I think it's because the skin is dark, and the tabi looks like it may be golden/yellow (Tanya's signature color).

Are you referring to how he has 4 'demonic beast' moves (not including "Demon Spawn"), and how we only saw 3 in the reveal trailer?

He has 5 moves using the demon bat. Demon Spawn, Sweep, Bite, and Fireball are the ones we saw in the trailer, but we never saw the other one. I'm curious now.
