Here are the planned rewards:

All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

For PSP owners, you will be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

•ModNation Racers
•Pursuit Force
•Killzone Liberation
•A selection of “On Us” rental movie titles will be available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available. Those titles will be announced soon.
•30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PlayStation Plus subscribers.
•Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.

This is interesting news indeed, thanks for posting it. Hell, I think that it's the least they can do considering how greatly inconvenienced people have been due to this mess. That's kind of a weak selection to choose from though, but I still think that it's a pretty sweet deal nonetheless.

I think that I'll probably choose Little Big Planet and InFamous for my PS3 titles. I haven't decided on which two to get for my PSP though. I really wish that there was more to choose from.

You do realize they didn't have to give you anything, right? Either two or four games each, for every single PS3 owner. And HOW many people are on PSN? They are losing a ton of money by doing this, there's no need for the complete lack of gratitude.
 
I don't want to sound like a downer, but I have all the games I want from that list and I much prefer the hard copy for my collection than digital... and i dont want crap on my ps3 i wont play... i get that free is free, but I wished they gave like a 15 dollar credit to anything in the store....i would be ok with 10 dollar credit too....as long as it adds to something i actually want lol
 
A lot of people were demanding that Sony do something like this. I really didn't think they had to since the PSN is free, I just wanted it back so I could play my games. But hey, if it's free I'll take it. I'll probably get Dead Nation and Infamous, as well. For my PSP I'll definitely go with LittleBigPlanet, I don't know what I'll get for my second game.
 
better than what i was expecting, i thought we would get G Police and Bushido Blade restored to there original format or Rise of the Robots 2 brought out especially for this PSN debacle or a secret costume for a 1st person shooter.....
 
Iam for free s***, but I don't want any of the games listed, they should have went with the 15 dollar credit, it would have been cheaper, and what is the benfit for playstation plus, I thought it was a warranty extention.

Edit: (sorry clicked post by accident on my droid) cuz my ps3 is like a year out of warranty.

Naturally they don't have to give people anything at all if they choose not to. However, for those of us that fork over our hard earned money for the PSN+ service, I feel that they should be somewhat obligated to compensate us in some way. They certainly didn't seem to have any problems charging my credit card this month, lol. I wasn't complaining about it anyway, so theres no need to get pissy about it.
 
For PSP, I'll probably get Modnation Racers and Killzone Liberation (or Pursuit Force, not sure yet). I'm looking forward to the PS Home items too.
 
That would be cool if I didn't have every one of those games. At least I can download the original spyro games for free with the playstation plus. Those games were epic
 
I can't believe this. Sony is offering FREE GAMES. Not just one but TWO for both PS3 and PSP and people are still complaining. Ridiculous. PSN is a FREE service and now they're offering FREE GAMES and people still complain about "Oh i already have this game" or "They should have just given money". I for one will be getting Infamous and Dead Nation for my PS3. I dont own a PSP but i would have gotten LBP PSP if i had one. And to everyone complaining, please leave. Sony has done nothing but worry about its consumers(FREE IDENTITY THEFT PROTECTION) and compensate its consumers.

People are gonna complain, it's simply the way of the world these days. Unfortunately most people have now somehow started having this sense of entitlement. Everyone wants something for nothing, and when they get it then they want even more. Sadly enough, the world has become filled with so many ignorant, self-absorbed *******s.

I still find it rather amusing that people have complained about the free PSN service since the very beginning. There were always some people that had something negative to say about the service, even though it's something they're getting for nothing. Personally, I have never really noticed anything to complain about other than I sometimes find it rather difficult to find what you're looking for. I much prefer the Xbox Live interface.
I think that this is a very noble move on Sony's part and it should make the majority of users happy. Unfortunately, there are always going to be those that cannot be pleased no matter what.
 
I have all but Super Stardust and Dead Nation and I'll gladly take those 2 for the hassle. Been wanting to get Dead Nation for a bit but don't buy off the store often so just haven't done it. Course I would love a bigger selection but I can live happily with what's been offered.
