Uh thats a bit of stretch to say considering Tremor was released only recently while Tanya has been out longer + has way more character usage. I would bet that months later both would still be at the bottom of the list.
and most people outside of MK community didn't even know who Tremor was, another exaggeration. You can't put him on the same level as those horror movie characters who are even more played than some of the non DLC characters. Having a Tremor bias is fine but don't let that cloud reality.
Sure, he may have just come out, but I can see him outselling Tanya by the time that a year has passed by.
I should have been more clear on that.
I meant to say that overall he'll likely outsell Tanya as DLC, when all is said and done.
Uh..... I didn't put him on the same level as Predator and Jason.
I'll post it here again, since it looks like you skipped that part of my post and didn't bother reading it, and just hit the reply button without reading properly:
I'm pretty sure that Predator outsold every MKX DLC character, followed by Jason, then Tremor, then Tanya.
The amount of people wanting Predator, Jason and Tremor FAR outnumbers the amount of people that wanted Tanya.
I'm sorry if your bias has blinded you, but the facts remain that the Tremor petition had 5,000+ signatures and there weren't nearly that many requests for Tanya.
That's not me saying what I wish.
No, those are cold hard facts.
The likely sales order of all DLC, when it's all said and done is either Predator or Jason being in 1st place, with Tremor after that and Tanya after that.
Character usage means jack shit when people vote with their wallets and BUY him.
I bought Tremor as DLC (along with the rest of the Kombat Pack), but I hardly use him because he doesn't fit my playstyle like I hoped that he would.
You see?
That logic is flawed, because who I use the most are Sub-Zero and Takeda.
Lots of people could have bought into the Tremor hype and not used him afterwards when they realize that he may not fit their playstyle.
I know a few people who bought Skarlet and dropped her a week later because she didn't fit their playstyle.
I what universe is a hulking rock monster more appealing than an Egyptian looking female?
In every universe.
Sorry, but the hulking rock monster wins just about every time as DLC for a casual who doesn't know about either character prior to MKX, over a plain-looking female character.
It's just the way it is.
It's the same way that horror characters will always outsell regular MK characters as DLC, so NRS will continue to have horror guests.
