Online tournie? (360)

Haven't been here in awhile.

Seeing as MK 9 is at its tournie zenith, and Evo just around the corner, been thinking of doing a tournie here like the old days.

What I had in mind, was with enough people, having a few small round robin groups, with the top players from each group (those with most wins, least losses) meeting in a grand finale group.

Let me know if anyone is interested.
 
Flagg I feel this is going to be hard to do these days. Not many actual players left on trmk. Not being a jerk but most ppl who took the game serious left. Me, you, gutz, mao, mike, etc.

How you gonna play people in the US? Have you got a copy flag or is there some way around the region lock?

I think ppmoney is the most hated player on the EU Psn severs and he deserves it :laugh: I haven't played him in a while, lol
 
Changed his name to S1lent K1iller apparently. which i dont like as theres a 3 Inches of Blood song called Silent Killer. I would like to think he isnt cool enough to like them lol. Obviously it may not be based on this but if it was. I always pictured him having a Youtube channel with him miming to Eminem Songs.....

Hmm, that's what I suspected. I have to admit, im quite curious how much people have levelled up. Last time i played PToad in ranked, I beat him quite convincingly. Really dont fear Cage anymore either (think he is 5:5 with CSZ). I still use CSZ as my main, but I have a bit of a pocket Ermac and Lui Kang as well these days.

And hello Critical. What's this "Thank You" stuff? Is it like the "like system" on TYM?

EDIT: I notice a couple of UK players here. If you guys are interested, we have offline casuals every monday in London. The last one till September is this monday, but there's a tournie at the end of the month. We're a friendly enough bunch and you'll meet some really amazing players.

I have a feeling most of those guys were really only here for those online tournaments anyways. They hardly contributed outside of flagg's tournaments. I mean I can't even tell you a time where I saw Gutz/Mike post in the gameplay threads and contribute.

So not surprising they leave when the online 360 TO leaves.

There are times where I really wish I just bought a 360. But then the reality that I have to re-learn controls just to play properly would be so annoying.

this is exactly why I use a fightstick....it's such a pain switching back and forth, relearning everything.
 
Oh lord I have seriously not played since the last tourny you held Flagg, which was great fun btw! But yeah if you decided to do this, I would be in and would pick MK up again... I am just work and go to to school 7 days a week but I will be able to find a way to play.
 
Flagg id like to play your CSZ again. We have different play styles with him so its interesting to see how you play him.

I agree cage is 5-5.

I'm on for a tourney though. Trying to get my kitana on my reptiles level so maybe ill stick with her.
