You guys are reading too much into this way too early. Just relax and wait until all the characters have been scored. There is only a fraction of the cast ranked. We have about 22 more to go so just wait. Obviously Scorpion is gonna be Low Tier at this point given the current voting choices. Not to mention I don't disagree, what with his punishable Spear and extremely slow Teleport. His ranking is more than appropriate to me, especially considering the Tier List isn't anywhere near complete.
 
Yeah, I beg to differ with Fox. So far, that list is looking pretty good from my experiences. More people have been giving reasons for their scores than not.

I see Scorpion as worse than CSZ and Jade and I have no hate for Scorpion. He's a good introductory character for people to learn with, I don't hold that against the character. I just think he's a bit weak. He relies far to much on 50/50s and if someone guesses right too many times, he can easily get his back to the ropes. That's not to say he's getting outplayed, just outlucked. His Spear is very unsafe on block, Hellfire is low damage and can be bulldogged through without much trouble, and his Teleport Punch is a bit slow and very punishable. He has some good normals that offer frame advantage, but that pressure can be slowed by low pokes and if they try to cancel into specials that get blocked then the pressure almost instantly abates and can lead to big punishment. He's by no means a bad character, don't get me wrong, in the right hands he can cause problems. However, the strategies to beat him are relatively simple it just takes some time to learn them. He's alright.

Scorpion is honestly not nearly as good as CSZ and Jade, Fox....
Even though YOU might be better with Scorpion than CSZ and Jade it doesn't mean that Jade and CSZ don't have an extremely bigger amount of potential.

The list is looking REALLY good so far. Jade and Cyber Sub are the only characters mentioned so far that are honestly in my opinion S tier. This means that they don't have any hard matchups passed 4-6 and instead people have hard matchups vs them. Scorpion has a good handful of matchups that are just really hard for him(CSZ being one of them coincidentally enough).

Just because they're harder characters to master, and just because you personally haven't seen anyone reach these character's full potential at a pro level doesn't mean that they aren't absolutely ridiculous/amazing.

Most people on this thread actually know what they're talking about. The only problem I've had with some people's votes so far are people saying Noob Saibot is bad up close(so ridiculously untrue I can't even believe some of you would say this) and that Jade is bad because she doesn't have a good overhead mixup...(she doesn't need a f*cking overhead mixup, she's OP as it is).
 
hmmm,not alot of post about kratos? I would but I dont own ps3. Maybe its time to choose someone new to keep things rolling.

I want to get peoples opionion on Kabal. I think he has potential to be Top tier.
 
I agree Sky Valley. Considering the fact that not everyone has a PS3, I'll be closing votes for Kratos now.

The next character up for ranking is the "sister" to Kitana, Mileena. Vote now!

What people didnt get is that IMO Scorpion and CSZ are in the same tier, i gave Scorpion an 8 and CSZ a 7.5

Both are high-mid/B tier IMO, none of them are top/S tier.
