+X-Ray can easily punish a projectile
+Has parry move
+Divekicks allow him to close the distance easily
-Iceball has a slow startup time
-Cyro-Bombs are useless
-Fatalities are lame

Definitely a 9
Not only is he one of my fav characters, but his dive kicks allow him to move forward extremely quickly and dodge projectiles. They also have great damage (especially enhanced). The only thing I don't like are his fatalities and his ice bombs seem useless.

Cyber Sub-Zero : 8.5*

+ His dive kick is ridiculously good
+ Best dash in the game
+ Great dive kick
+ Great tools at his disposal. (EX) Parry, Slide, Ice ball, teleport... oh yeah and the dive kick
+ High damaging combos
+ Did I mentioned his dive kick is broken?

- His dash into his 3 mix up is ****ed up... Everytime you do dash-3 he throws the ice bomb -_- The only reason I didn't give him a 9

If they ever fix the buffer window for the bombs(or even better remap them to another button) then he's a solid 9 for me. For now 8.5

+Dive kick is hard to punish for some slower characters
+He has slide, teleport, ice blast, dive kicks and bombs to counter zone
+Ice counter makes rushdown and mixup chars hesitant to attack or press buttons
+Very good rushdown, good damage output
+Good mixups with very fast high and low pokes. Can jail and outpoke opponents easily. Mixes it up with throw and ice counter.
+Some nice bomb traps and shens (especially in the corner)
+X-ray beats air to air and anti-air attacks, good counter vs zoners too

Definitely S or very near S tier in my book.

This sums my thoughts up perfectly. Cyber Sub-Zero is a fantastic character that I think will be seeing more tournament play in the future. I still can't believe Prima tried to list him as s--t tier lol. Insanity.

i would give him a 9, extremely fun character to use, took me ages to get used to him but very easy character to use against most other characters also, his x- ray can be a pain to execute but usually works. He is an amazing character imo one of the best in the entire game(if not the best)

Cyber Sub-Zero=8.0

Very versatile and very flexible whenever either rushing or zoning. Has ways of getting to his opponent, such as Teleport, Slide or Dive Kicks, and very good stylish mixup combos. Only turn-off are his fatalities.

I hope NRS will now put him in the starting roster and his human form as an unlockable in MK10.
 
Cyber Sub - 10

I really don't enjoy playing him too much but i personally find him to be the most versatile character in the game. He can really adapt to every situation. Someone is rushing him hardcore, start countering. Someone is using projectiles, dive kick in. Excellent turtle too. What can i say i think he could be the best
 
Cyber Sub could punish most projectiles with Dive Kick on reaction. He has an amazing mixup game up close. He could end his strings in Ice parry, Slide, or teleport to throw people off. His damage output is pretty nice. He has an ice ball. Ice parry in general is hella good. His F22 is super safe on block.

Definitely hands down S tier. He is just flat out absolutely amazing. Why no one uses him, I still don't know...

I'm playing constantly with him offline to learn his gameplay, and he is very good, very underrated character online and offline, let me say.

Well what I wonder is why the Prima Games guide places CSZ in the s**t tier, if he's really S tier? Maybe NRS wanted Prima to do it, so that the player base would underestimate CSZ.

The Prima guide was so shitty overall though, I wouldn't be surprised if they based that off an alpha build of the character and they made him better after that, or maybe the match ups/tier lists were based off of just going into the game, doing a quick training session with each character, and then fighting with them, so they didn't really know how to play CSZ yet as well as the characters that they already knew how they worked.

Fact is, they're plain wrong. CSZ is a very solid character. He gets a 9 from me.
 
Prima Guide made a mistake, that's all ..... they put CSZ with only 2/10 chance to beat Shang Tsung .... but I ask you : Is Shang Tsung so good to the point he makes CSZ looks bad and make him "his ***** !" ?????? .....

No way, CSZ is one of the best anti-zoner character, he can avoid Shang Tsung skulls, and, I think it's Shang, who, in the end, is in trouble facing a very skilled CSZ ..... CSZ has a very good "mind games" set, I mean, the guy has the best dive kick in the game, he has 2 special moves more or less as Subby, he can teleport, he can parry middle and high hits, he has his ice bombs, unblockable .....

He has 12 default combos, the third character with more default options (Only Baraka and Kratos have more combos, respective 14 and 13), so, CSZ is a very good character, he seems more fast than the others cyber ninjas (Cyrax and Sektor) .... so, I still think CSZ it's tournament material .....
