Official Street Fighter Thread

I dont know how i feel about SFV yet. Maybe closer to the release date i'll be excited. As of right now- the anticipation isn't killing me. LOL.

I was legit expecting him to be revealed e3 but capcom decided to throw in an early curveball and reveal him today

I like his new arrogant stance now

I wonder if there will be another reveal E3 or if there is an improved playable build
 
I forgot that E3 is nearing. It was like a surprise birthday punch for me.

I need to pre order for whenever the beta release happens
 
Akuma, Zangief, Cammy, Sagat are all givens i would think. Someone like Alex not to sure about that one. Depends on the roster size i guess
 
A new community, many new players, some veterans
and several players with solid fundamentals.
The connection on release day was worse than PC & PS3.
Dropped so many combos, couldn't anti air nor react
properply and sometimes I couldn't even block while crounching. The connection on day 2 was better for some
reason. Still, if Capcom wants to keep the PS4 USF4 community
strong they better release a netcode patch that fix
those issues ASAP or most players will go back to PC, 360 and
PS3.
Some changes I have noticed. Guile can combo from UDK into 2x cr fierce in the corner,
Guile's cr. HP does AA stuff it didn't before such as Yun's dive kick ( not rly sure if Guile could AA this before )
Blanka's neutral jump HP whiffs on some stuff vs characters like Sakura
I might be wrong with some of those - needs more testing - will hitting the lab on the weekend when I got more time and
grinding some more games & report back

Just a short montage I have put together - the community seems strong right now but like I said if this netcode doesn't
get any fix ASAP this will change soon - I hope that's not the case.

 
Good thing I still have my PS3. In fact, I still have all my old consoles dating back to the SNES.

This game looks so sick!!!!!!
I'm not even a Street fighter fan but I'm hype for this!
Reminds me of Marvel vs Capcom and the earlier Street fighter games.
I just couldn't get into SF4 but you can see they really switched the mechanics up in the new one.

Also I heard this game will have PC - PS4 online crossplay.
How cool is that?

And something about a "rollback netcode"
I have no idea what that means but apparently it's really good.

Since MK's Netcode was a bust, I'll move on to this game when it releases. It does look hype, and I'm digging Charlie so I'll play him until they announce Sakura :love:
