Official NFL Thread

Sorry Yung, but your Eagles' dream of playoff bound for this year have officially been shattered after that lost to the Panthers last night.

And nice of you to drop by here mkRay. Anyways, this is your chance for your team to break the tie against the 49ers after that close game a few weeks back.

It's VFD dammit!!!!

Well, you can finally talk to other Eagle fans and ask them what changes does Philadelphia need in order to be a better team for the 2013-2014 season. Something like a big discussion online meeting.

Sorry VFJ (jk) VFD.

I can just talk with my step dad, ain't no Eagles fans here except Shira

Well, there is other people outside of TRMK who can probably sympathize your pain of your Eagles on the constant losing streak and possibly one of their worst season of their franchise career.

I hope so VFD, and thanks :) I feel like we can actually beat them; yeah I'm worried about Kapernick (or however you spell his last name), but our defense is pretty good so hopefully he won't be too much of a factor.

I don't know about you guys, but Suh got off lucky w/ that fine if you ask me; to me it looked like he intentionally tried to kick Schaub that Thanksgiving game, though you could just as easily say it was an accident.

Accident or not, Suh should get a few games suspension for his antics against the quarterbacks or any other offensive player on the field.

Anyways, tonight's the night in which the Falcons are gonna definitely destroy the Saints (definitely owe San Francisco for stopping them in their tracks in last week's game).

I'm so damn happy about last night win over the Saints. Not only did we crush New Orleans' playoff hopes, but also caused Drew Brees to throw 5 interceptions, AND ended his passing TD streak. It was so sweet of a revenge from our only lost to them a few weeks back.

Now to get ready in a couple weeks against the Giants.

Yeah, you guys got the Saints good; I've never seen Brees throw that many picks before.

I'm also happy b/c my Rams beat the 49ers! Our whole team played well, especially our defense. We're technically still in the playoff race too, so we still have something to play for. I think we're actually undefeated in our conference lol. We just gotta get our RB situation settled and keep our OL as well as our receivers (especially Amendola) healthy so that we can take some of the pressure off Bradford.

Well, my team has clinched the playoffs and are the South Division. And congrats on your Rams winning mkRay, although it's not likely unless the others lose their last 4 games for the last wild card spot.

Next up, taking those Panthers out in a sweeping manner.

I BELIEVE!

All I can do anyways lol. Our defense is really good, which is funny b/c our defense used to be straight up cheeks; its amazing what a change in coaching staff can do in one year to a team.

Weirdest quote of the week (imo): "I have three good quarterbacks. I feel good about three quarterbacks. We're in a lot better situation than a lot of teams." - Rex Ryan

Thats just total BS IMO lol.

Indeed Ray. Although I DO feel bad for the Chiefs this year. Hopefully next season, they'll get better in the plays and spiritually as a franchise team.

I bet you're praying that both of your division rivals lose the remaining games, plus the other teams ahead of you in the wild card hunt.

If the whole NFC West didn't level up (well, except the Cards, and thats just b/c they can't find a QB) then I'd be a lot more confident. I know we're undefeated in our division, but those teams are not to be underestimated. Plus the teams ahead of us already have a decent sized lead, so we'll see.

Yeah, the Chiefs got hit hard, but they played real hard and got a tough win. Wonder if they'll be able to carry it through the rest of the season.

Not likely, although they finally got a good reason to go for the win, although it would be sweet for them to beat the tougher teams during the final weeks of the season as a tribute for rememberance.

And yeah. The East Division is about to be turned into anyone's game if the Giants lose tonight against the Redskins.

While that was one hell of a win by KC, I am not all that impressed. First of all, as Parcells says, you are what your record says you are, and there's a good reason why KC is 2-10. Second, Eff Jovan Belcher! I have absolutely no sympathy at all for those who commit murder-suicide! They are the bane of society! And, if your team needs an unspeakable tragedy like this to happen to finally get their asses in gear and play like they give a shit about winning, then frankly, your team sucks (I have relatives in the KC area, so I am well aware of the bullshit that's gone on since Dick Vermeil retired, and I was even alerted to the infamous "play like you care" rant on KC Sports Talk Radio early in the season)!

Speaking of that Trash about the Parcells quote, I find that funny since I saw the Dallas-Philadelphia game on Sunday night. During the pre-game show on NBC, one of the Dallas players admitted that their team has been doing atrocious in this season, but since then, they're slowly trying to come back and attempt to steal the division from the Giants.

Well, I'll believe it when I see it. This team has let me down a lot over the last decade, especially late in the season (and that's even when Parcells was the head coach). I think that player you speak of is none other than the team's best player, DeMarcus Ware.

If Dallas makes the playoffs, I know they will choke, but I will still be soooooo happy <3
