Official Friday March 27th Kombat Kast Diskussion Thread

By revealing Shinnok, I think we can be more informed about his boss role (if he is the big bad, the only boss, you know).

I'm saying this considering the variations. Seriously, his boss variation (from NRW) may be very obvious (copycat, Amulet stuns, magic).

What makes you say that? Or write, as it were. I might be blind and use a program which reads the text aloud for me.

... That's not the case though, but it could be. :P

Buy you're a designer, how does a blind guy have a concept of aesthetics and beauty? and have visual designing skills for that matter.

After the ending of MK2011 it was obvious that the big boss of the next game will be Shinnok. During E3 last year Ed said that the big boss will be "surprise returning character". Shinnok wouldn't be a surprise at all. Unless - we already know that we fight him in the 1st chapter of MKX and the surprising factor will be that he shows up again as the big boss. Considering Boon's words during E3, it wouldn't make any sense. That's why I think Shinnok will be ONLY the first sub-boss like Shang Tsung in MK2011.

Yeah, this is exactly where I am. Shinnok is basically filling Shang Tsung's role to some extent. The actual end boss of the final story segment will be either Reiko or Havik. If it's anyone else I'll be genuinely surprised. I really can't think of a plausible candidate outside of those two and Liu Kang.

Like I said, it's not the case. :P
I guess it's a force of habit, really. I've been a roleplayer since I was 12 where I've been putting my characters' words into writing. And it just sounds better to say "I hear what you're saying" than to say "I see what you're writing" when having a conversation with people online, even if it is indeed through text.

lol It's ok man, I'm just messing with you, I had the most boring and lame day, that's the reason I'm messing with londonhellgate in that other thread. lmao.

why would they keep goro gameplay hidden right till the end?

makes no sense.
if hes an incentive to preorder they should show
what hes all about right now. not weeks later when its too late

The only thing I can think of is maybe his dialogue gives away major story spoilers. Or his variations give things away. I dunno, Its weird how we are 3 weeks from launch and they wont show us anything.
