Yeah, Injustice didn't have random stage select and that really got on my/my friend's nerves. we would just rotate our analog sticks wildly until we both stopped and selected lol

Yeah, we haven't seen him in-game except in a few screenshots. Would be nice to see how he plays as.

Why does that matter? You really find it such an inconvenience?
It just looks better when all the characters can be seen, I love a select screen

I wouldn't call it lazy. It looks stupid looking at a character select screen where there's empty spots for those who haven't gotten the DLC characters, and maybe even more so if they're put in at an odd spot, which they will be if the programmers at NRS will put the main roster first. Also, it takes more to program a pop-out screen than to copy/paste the code for another common roster spot.
There's alot to consider on the programmers' behalves.

whatever man, as long as there is actually more to show.. this is so weird, himmerick said we'd see most of the roster, we've seen all 24 slots.. unless he meant literally see most of the roster and actually not see how a couple characters are redesigned for this game. but even so, MK always kept some surprises, we had quan chi, CSZ and smoke kept I think.. those were just leaked, no plan to show, now we got nothing.. hopefully there are more characters and we'll see even empty slots on friday and derek be like.. 'whaaaaaaaaaa is that a third row? OMG'
For these 4/5, you could easily put them in the middle above the rows, between the characters when you select them. They might have to make the boxes a bit smaller. You can hide them and once unlocked, have them appear, it's not that hard actually. If they have more surprises like the poster above me said, then just add a hidden third row, where boxes will appear once unlocked (one by one).

The thing i find strange is that they said there is 2 unlockables, one through story and the other through a secret fight in the tower, we already seen Liu Kang on Top of the tower so he might be the sub-boss and Shinok the big bad.
Shinok gets unlocked through story and liu kang through the tower or someone else.
I thought lover_of_tacos confirmed the question mark to be ramdom select already.
we might finally get to see some goro gameplay, Sonya to complete the cage family, a new stage reveal and prolly some more online modes.

Erron Black yes, Jax appeared in the demo and Lui Kang was also seen there + confirmed in the kombat pack.
Fingers crossed indeed, but don't count on it.

Hmm... a BLACK background with the word "FRIDAY" there. You guys know what this means? Rebecca Black is confirmed for MKX and will be the daughter of Erron Black. Its quite obvious.
That's too terrifying.... Even for Mortal Kombat
