I don't think so...in my opinion, the more characters they add, the better chance for Armageddon again, I guess just a bit.
And hopefully Skarlet will have a part in MK10.

For this MK i prefer the classic ones.
For MK10 I wish they put 1/3 of classics characters and 2/3 of new ones.

I'm getting bored with some characters, specially with scorp and subzero :O (are almost 20 years seeing the same faces, i think is time for a change, at least a little one..)

I would like to see some 3d mk era characters like Li Mei, Frost and Drahmin as DLC... the others are fillers for me :/ (yeah, hate BoRaiCho, don't like Kenshi, Hsu Hao.. who remembers him?, Darrius? ... lolololololol)

Why? Thats the most stereotypical character designing I ever seen.

It would be better if they would do the original design for Mavado. It would be kool if he were a Mexican hispanic too so he kan know english. The spanish kan kome from his parents. He kould konsider himself a mexican since he was raised that way as well.

That is my dream character. Also, that would be a nice way to represent my race and how most people, who were born in the US, are who have parents from mexico because its most likely they were raised that way. I was raised that way, to konsider myself a mexican instead of a hispanic. I hate being kalled a hispanic.

Trust me, I go to mexico almost every month of the year kause I have family down there and mexico is nothing like El Fuerte.

After the conceptualization of "Kurtis Stryker" but before the introduction of Jax, Sonya still needed a partner. And what's this? A cybernetic arm. Gentlemen, why call out for characters from beyond MK I through III when we have such primo roster of characters to introduce. Behold...Sparky!

Oh I didn't just find this, I actively sought it out. I collected these comics as a kid, mocked even by comic book collecting friends as the ultimate losernerd. Who's laughing now, I get to know about Siang and shit. Characters like Siang and Lance/Sparky were put there so we could see some badass Fatalities in the comics. But the characters were all legit. In fact, let's check out another extremely legit character. The comics delved into the existing mythology of Mortal Kombat, which was still mysterious and unexplored at that time. And there were some kickass dudes hiding out in there. Like this guy. Holy crap. This is Grum.

Ever wonder what happened to Goro in the original timeline after you beat him down? Well, keep in mind there wasn't a Quan-Chi back then. In the miniseries Goro: Prince of Pain, we meet Goro's second sorcerous master, the hilariously-named Zaggot. But that's nothing compared to what he does with Goro, this is when I WTFed over the comics IRL. No weirder than anything NetherRealm has done since though. THE KOMBATANT!

I had some of those comics and I remember Siang. He could be a great addition.

Hmm what else. To fill in on the above, Zaggot is a God of Chaos and his brother is Abacus, a God of Law. In order to defeat The Kombatant, Goro must ally himself with Abacus in order to bring about balance. But in the final confrontation with Zaggot, we behold the god's alternate avatar.

Forgot to add that The Kombatant had powers culled from all of those listed in the picture below. Also, I don't know much about the Special Forces MK game, but before it was in existence and in between the original Blood & Thunder and Battlewave series, there was this group of badasses accompanying Jax and Sonya.
