Official Anime Discussion

Right now I'm watching these:

Kotoura-san
kotoura-san.jpg

little girl grows up with the ability to read minds. That means also the minds of dick heads. And she learns slowly that people start to REALLy hate her even her own mother while she's still a child. Until she meets a guy, where his mind is always saying what his mouth is saying. And he occasionally thinks of ridiculously stupid things lol. They become friends. Most of the conflict comes around her ability to read people's minds.

Oreshura

A girl fed up with boys asking her out. Forced a boy who's only interested in school and not girls, to date her through black mail. Love triangle so far from what I've seen.

Mayou Maou Yuusha

this one is pretty funny. Demon King (which is the chick actually), first episode completely owns the "Hero" intellectually about economics, people starving and the REAL intent behind War.

And they team up to fix the world lol.

By the looks of it it seems really copy and paste.
Young bro doesn't know what to do so it leads to awkward encounters with the females he messes around with.

Yes it's been rehashed. the only different part was the girl blackmailing him to be her boyfriend.

I'm still liking the other two atm.

I finally got a chance to finish some of the anime I didn't finish, namely Tiger and Bunny; really liked the way it ended. One of my friends kept bugging me to watch Shippudden, and at first I didn't want to, but after watching Toonami air the old Naruto shows, I got interested, so I decided to watch it; ended up at episode 32 after 3 days lol. Also started watching where I stopped off at Bleach.

I also watch Inuyasha: Final Act (shoutout to Metal for reminding me), but I couldn't watch it past the first ep. Idk if it was because I was watching other anime, but the first ep seemed so... sporadic. I guess they were trying to reintroduce all the important characters for newcomers but it just seemed all over the place. I'm sure it'll get better as the episodes progress, but for now I'll watch the rest later.

Next anime that I'm gonna continue is prob Jormungand.

Speaking of The Final Act, mkray, what is Kagome's new voice like? What about Sesshy too if he was in there? Viz changed the voice actors for the original's dub for those two so I'm extremely worried since those are two of my favorites lol

I listened to the subbed version so I couldn't tell you for sure, sorry. I've always prefer the subbed versions of shows now rather then the dubs. From what I heard though the new Sessh sounds pretty close to the original one.

Lol dat sig

Yeah it's cool, I can understand that. I think InuYasha has one of the better English dubs out there, which is why I skipped watching the subbed version. Glad to hear that about Sesshomaru, but I swear to God, if Kagome ****ing Higurashi doesn't sound good this time dubbed, Imma have to smack some hoes up at Ocean Studios

Oh well, guess that means it's time to head over to the Adult Swim boards and see what they think

Hey Metal, if someone made a Terminator anime, how would you react? for me I would think it would be awesome.
Hmmm, I guess I would be cautiously optimistic? Like, I'd look forward to it, but I'd still have my doubts towards it, too

On a side note, I'm gonna try to get into Rosario Vampire at some point I guess

Gonna watch Wangan midnight. I've heard loads of good things about it but for some reason it has a 1.5/5 star ratiing on AF. I will make judgements for myself
