Also Claymore manga is really slow moving.


Soul Eater is good. I am a anti-bleach/dbz/one piece/bleach/naruto type person. And if you dislike those for the same reason I do. (Mainly because of recycle and cheap budget for many episodes/fillers)

I don't feel Soul eater falls in that category. yet lol.

I only read a couple of chapters into Claymore, not enough to finish a volume. Unless somebody else grabs the books off the shelf, I'll consider reading it some more.

I did watch a good deal of DBZ during the summer (around the time when my interest in anime was at its peak). I admit liked it at the time, but the poor pacing took its toll. I read the manga version (I didn't have a desire to watch the anime after the first episode) of Naruto up to the point of the chunin exams. I didn't hate it, but I got overwhelmed by the length of the series, and eventually dropped it. I haven't the seen the rest of the series that you named.
 
I watched the original run of Hajime no Ippo after playing Victorious Boxers (a PS2 game based on the series). It had a balance of drama, action, and comedy to keep me going, but damn it seems Ippo will never find the answer to "what it means to be strong". I tried reading the manga, but didn't have the patience to keep up. It seems the series will last as long as the author. BTW, are these IPod chapters scanslations or an official release?

In the sense that everyone uses it? Sure it is! Hentai is simply a specific genre of anime and manga. Same as live-action porn is a genre of made-for-TV/direct-to-dvd movies.

Also, everyone should watch Soul Eater. It is entirely responsible for me falling in love with anime all over again. Prior to that, I'd almost entirely lost interest.
 
Also, as far as Hentai goes, Bible Black is the very last word in awesome. It is downright hilarious, if you've got a sick sense of humor like me.
