Official Anime Discussion

On some real shit though

Krillin did have the balls to try and go up against Perfect Cell and Super Buu

He might have still sold the Z Fighters out once for some Android 18 ass

But he has my respect for that lol

Goku vs Majin Vegeta fight is godlike

Especially when Vegeta gives that speech to Goku after he slaps him.

The reason it was so good for me was, because nothing Vegeta, said was wrong. You knew he had a reason to summit (kinda), to the wizard. By the end of his Buu fight when he wanted to show he was just as much a Hero as Goku, then he gave another speech to Trunks was great you felt sorry for him. The story in DBZ is more amazing then I remember.

Yeah, I agree, Vegeta has some of the best character development I've ever seen from an anime

His character development is slow and steady, and he shows periods of regressing and doubting his own changes into a force for good, so that makes his change into a hero a lot more believable to me, especially with him being an anti-hero and all

I must've been around eleven years old when I saw this for the first time, as I remember it was still ongoing. It's completely ridiculous, yet enjoyable at the same time.

He is by far one of the greatest characters in DBZ.

But Gohan is my favorite character in it. I liked how he tried to be a pacifist (during the Cell Games), but ultimately succumbed to his anger after the death of 16.
Then that time between the Cell saga and Buu saga where you see him grow and try and be normal, but again is pulled back into the hero role, because he saw he was needed. Then falling in love with Videl, (IMO) gave his character more of a reason to fight. It's been my favorite miny saga's from Dbz.

Oh cool, I actually found someone who actually enjoyed Gohan post-Cell Saga

A lot of people tend to hate on him during the early parts of the Buu Arc for being a bookworm instead of training to be stronger like his father

But I liked Gohan and his goofy antics during that period. Also, in my opinion, that's what helped seperate him as a character from his father and what made him unique for me in the series

People need to understand that Gohan isn't like Goku or Vegeta, he doesn't have that Saiyan urge to fight and get stronger nor is he as competitive as the two

He only wanted a peaceful life, he didn't want to be constantly fighting evil and in the end, that's what he got after he defeated Cell, if even for just a while

People may not like that he didn't continue training to be the strongest, but it makes sense considering his character

Sure, Future Gohan was badass and more like the hero his father was, but he was the last remaining Z Fighter in his timeline, and unlike the main timeline, the times were anything but peaceful, so he had to step up and be the hero since no one else was around to do it

Main timeline Gohan after the Cell saga never had to go through that, so of course he isn't anything like Future Gohan was

Now, GT Gohan, on the other hand, that's a whole different story

I find him being more Human then Sayain. With the introduction of Videl and his bond with Goten, his Sayain side took a backseat to his human side.

Not a lot of people liked it when Dbz showed that it's characters had some sort of humanity, but when they did show Goku getting mad or Vegeta showing compassion the product couldn't get better. Because it allowed them to show the characters where more then just mindless war machines.

Man it's been so boring for me in this thread lol.

would you all please hurry up and catch up on the epic animes that came out like 4+ years ago? lol

I'm j/k. It's just you all are on this shared anime bandwagon of anime's I've already seen, and I can't talk about them w/o spoiling it.

What animes are we talking about? Because I've seen all Dbz and refused to watch GT.

DBZ/Death Note/Deadman Wonderland ect ect.

People jumping on the bus so late. Metal is trapped in the Toonami age. It's like the only anime's he can talk about are ones that aired on Toonami LOL

no hate here man it's kind of true though haha.

There is a platora of anime out there. And a LARGE amount of genre's.

The only Genre I stay away from is Yaoi.

I've watched some Yuri though. I'll even watch Gender Bender's like Kampfer.

I wonder if my amazing analysis of Gohan's during and after Cell personality is what attracted all those 25 guests?
