I searched and didn't see a topic about this system so I decided to make a topic to discuss and post interesting stuff about the Nintendo 3DS.

I found out yesterday that there was a new Tekken game coming out for 3DS.


It looks damn good and I can't wait to play it. SSF4, Blazblue, DOA and now Tekken? I hope they add SF x Tekken since there been talk about it and I don't see no reason to add MK in the future.

Oh and it comes with the Tekken CG movie Tekken Blood Vengence and will be the first film for the 3DS.

I'd heard about it, but never saw this. Now I have to choose between a 3ds with the RE series and Tekken Game/Movie, or Vita with a re-released MK9 for it. WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?


Edit: I'm now leaning towards the 3DS for a few reasons:

1. Now 80 Dollars cheaper.
2. Adding more storyline to the RE Series
3. This awesome game/movie combo (Bonus if it's new game, little less if it's a re-released old Tekken)
4. 3D Netflix (Soon, I hope)
5. Slew of new Nintendo games (Luigi's mansion 2, Mario Kart 3DS, Super Mario 3DS, Ocarina of time 3D, Etc.)


Right now, The Ps Vita has a MK9 coming for it. Love the game, but I already own it.

Omfg!!!!! Cant wait till tekken for 3ds!!!!! =p

So many fighting games on 3ds!!!! :)

I wonder if is coming this or next year ...
 
Yeah. I'm sure people saw this before but RE revelations looks pretty sweet too. Really can't wait to next year to get to play it. But you can already play the demo.

 
I want is a new Mario Party for the 3DS. the Ds version was really fun, and I'm interested in seeing how they can utilize the New features to their advantage.
 
Operation Raccoon City overshadows my excitement for Revelations.

I tried using a 3DS at Best Buy a few days ago. It was pretty cool for what it was, but not worth the high price despite bringing back all the original Nintendo games. With the price drop, AND all the fighting games like SSF, AND Resident Evil, it's hard to resist :#
 
I already let everyone in my family know that the 3DS is my Christmas DO WANT item, all the good games are coming out around the holiday season so might as well wait till then to grab one.
 
The type of 3D tech that's in 3DS is relatively new. The whole 3D without glasses thing. Its all first generation of its type. I'm fine with my regular DS for now. I can wait 5 years for when the tech in the 3DS is much more refined and better.
 
Just bought one earlier today, just out of pure boredom and I like it so far. RE Mercenaries and DOA Dimensions are perfect time killers and the built in games/options are kinda fun too. Bout the 3D... if you keep a steady fix while you're playing it will be very nice but if you move too often and your eyes need to focus between 3 and 2D rapidly you'll start to feel uncomfy after a while, but it's an 8/10 overall for me, just hope there's an MK coming soon for it, and waiting till Februari for the Vita sucks, the prices for the Vita however are not too high and the games' graphics are sweet, gameplay wise I can't vouch for but it will be good me thinks, psp wasn't bad so why should this be and plus it will be my new phone :) just don't get the iPhone madness, I think it's a waste of a lot of money imo.

BTW the included demo of Revelations in Mercs was like wtf... was walking through some corridors (nice grafx btw) for a couple minutes, encountered one enemy, killed him walked some more and demo ended... mmm so can't tell anything about it except that it looks nice and moves quite smooth but that's it, sry.
Maybe it's a timed demo and screwed it up a bit trying to find my way, lol. I'll try again l8er and let you guys (the interested ones) know something.

Now that I think about it, I might be able to get the 3DS for Christmas and the Vita for my birthday. Whichever one I end up liking the least, I can give to my older brother. PERFECT!
 
Another promising looking game is Shinobi for the 3DS. It reminds me of the classics incuding my favorite Shinobi 3 for genesis. This is another game I would definitely be getting.
 
The 3DS here dropped from 300+ to 199. Quite astonishing if you ask me. I might consider getting one to play Mariokart and Professor Layton on the go.
 

.. so, Mario is literally going to hop out of the screen and put a mustache on my face if so, i need to get myself a Nintendo 3DS instead of waiting for the Vita
