Men, with all their strength, seem to forget that they have one giant weak spot that can reduce them to a puddle of goo with just a light flick. Women don't really have that. Pit a woman against a man, one on one, the fight can be over in just seconds.

The fact that we are arguing about realism in a game with fireballs and blade arms and teleporting is like, sure.

Nobody's suggesting Jane Doe off the street is as capable as most John Does of winning an MMA fight. Testosterone is real and it affects bone density, upper body strength, etc.

But the women in MK are exceptional. They're like those two women who just graduated Army ranger school. They're like Ronda Rousey or Laila Ali. And they're also *magical* most of the time, so the realism argument is ridiculous.

If you don't like female characters in fighting games that's your business, but how women fight irl has no bearing on Mortal Kombat of all things.

But... I don't really understand why this is an issue to a video game that is mostly aimed at men. Majority of the employees at Netherrealm Studios are men, and they're creating and have been creating a game that is aimed more at men. They know that women play this game as well, but they're still making it more so aimed at the male audience. Do I give a damn that there's not that many females in the series? Not really, I don't play as a lot of the females anyways since majority of my favorites are the male characters. I have favorite females, but majority of them are hardly returnees. The only females I see that get all the love a lot are Mileena, Kitana, and Sonya. All the others, while they do have big fan bases, they're not as loud as these three character fan bases.

It's a fantasy game that has no logic behind it. I can freeze people in mid air and they stay there. I've said it before a bunch of times, when that stops happening, I'll take this series a bit more seriously. Until then, it's just fantasy. I don't care who is represented or how much respect females get here. I honestly don't care, in the end, it's a game. Politics should just feck off.

It is funny when a woman says women are better than men she is a strong and independent and it is her right to say so. But when men say they are better they are sexist pigs. In matter of fact men are better than women in almost everything

I'm not sitting here calling people sexist pigs though, just telling them how wrong they are. People are throwing up the phrase "Men are stronger than women." Physically, yes, and I've showed how that's possible. However, scientific proof is out there that women are the better ones of the sexes. There's a helluva lot of proof out there. You want to keep saying that men are better, well, that's simply not true and I'm going to keep throwing my proof out there until people either stop and give up or just accept that, yes, women are better then men. I'd rather show the truth rather than calling people names.

I will say, however, that a lot of people in this thread really have no fvcking clue what they're talking about though, and you have a woman right here talking about women. You're clearly a prime example of those who have no clue what they're talking about as well. So please don't write back until you've acknowledge the idiocy in your post. Thanks.

There haven't been centuries of men being traded as chattel by their fathers and husbands. Until very recently -- and still not everywhere! -- women were property and told they weren't good at anything. Surely the male ego can handle a little bit of turnabout.

Sareena is the only female character missing from MKX. Get her in the game, even if it means reverse engineering the Source Code to do it.

I guess I'll just have to take the L for now. I don't believe my mind will ever be changed on the subject, I've too much experience studying this creature. But I'll try to keep my ideals off the internet lol
 
Jeez guys, kiss and make up. I believe this thread is about what female character we would like to see as DLC. Let's stay on topic and let's act mature. There is no need for brawls here. I mean at the end of day we all know that women are better at everything. No contest.

Ok but to be serious. The more people mention Sareena the more I would like to see her in game. Even so I still vote for completely revamped Frost. Both her design and backstory.
 
Honestly I'd like all four of these. Frost I'm eh on but I know it'd make a lot of fans happy.

It'd be weird for DLC this time but next game I'd like to see a revamp of Ashrah, one of the better 3D era characters except for her lazy rushed moveset.

Sexism is to hit a woman, to insulter her, to make her feel inferior, to say a fighting game having more men than women makes sense it's not sexism, it is just an opinion based on logic, I'm not offending women and I'm not degrading them in any way so stop with the sexist bullshit because it has nothing to do with this.

Real women suffer sexism on a daily basis and it has nothing to do with my little and inocent opinion about a game, to say it does it's an insult to them.

Sexism is defined by thinking men are superiour to women, or the other way around. As soon you enter that territory, no matter how innocent and little you think your opinion is, it's still sexism.
