Since I seriously doubt they'd talk about a comic for half an hour / an hour, I'm expecting some Jason variation breakdown.
They've never done a Kombat Kast w/o Kombat.

Hella yes. I know DLC characters aren't completed etc. I'd love them to at least give us some info on their variations, perhaps show a bit of artwork for them.

Especially since Jason comes out next week.
I'm hella excited! Can't wait to see how they do him.
I'm convinced, since they did say on the Jax/Jacqui stream that DLC chars all will get Variation breakdown kasts, this must be Jason's since he comes out in a few days.

I wonder what kind of stream it is. It says it's about the comics?

I really hope it's more centered around the lore. Id love to hear Kittelsen just talk Mortal Kombat.

That won't happen.

If they were to show Jason they would promote it a week in advance, something like that attracts lots of viewers, they wouldn't miss the opportunity to get many viewers by being all mysterious about it.

Unfortunate. I can't name 5 people who would watch a stream talking about a comic series and show absolutely no gameplay.
What's the point of a kombat kast with no kombat?

I'm not tuning in for an hour just for a comic.
 
I would assume they would show some Jason gameplay, even if it's like a little bit of game play.

That would be kinda silly to show nothing and just talk for an hour and a half about the comic. Don't get me wrong, I love the comic series to death but I'm not the kind of person who is willing to watch a long stream that just talks about a comic.

Exactly.
Especially with Jason right around the corner, and no other Kast planned, and they confirmed that all DLC characters will have their own variation breakdowns,
Also, they always do those surprises.
Also, almost all casuals didn't know that they were going to do Shinnok or Liu Kang and they did.
I don't know, I think we might get a surprise.
 
I doubt the stream is going to be that long, besides I bet there are going to be fights, but just normal Derek vs Tyler fights, perhaps Kittelsen fights too but I don't know, I don't see them doing something big as showing Jason without promoting it to hype people and make them buy him.
 
They'll talk about:

  • The game's release/success;
  • The comics (how they tied them into the game, how and why certain characters were used);
  • DLC progress and release dates (probably a look at Jason on the menu, but no gameplay 'because he's not finished yet');
  • Some fights between Derek/Tyler/Shawn, and the belt match;
  • Probably a look at the Kold War skins.
That's my guess. I agree with others that it's very unlikely they will show Jason gameplay without having advertised him at all. They know fewer people are going to tune in given that the game has been released and very few people (relatively speaking) have seen the comics anyway.
