Midway has released a new high-resolution render of <b>Deathstroke</b> from the upcoming <a href="http://www.trmk.org/games/mortal_kombat_vs_dc_universe/">Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe</a>.

Aw I LOVE it. Such a great bonus. I never expected him to be in until I heard that rumor. God I'm glad it was true. Sub, Scorp, Joker, Deathstroke, and Kahn...what a team...you know I'll be using those guys almost exclusively right? Alas, Lobo and Sektor didn't make the cut.

Does the way he's gripping his gun look funky to you?

Yeah, i noticed that too...why do some of the renders look amazing, while the others look half-assed???
But i am happy that deathstroke was put in...but like you glamdor, i was hoping that "THE MAIN MAN"
would be put in :(
Dude, this game would be perfect if the DLC for the 360 and ps3 would be new characters!!!
 
I was just reading some old Titans comics, and Deathstroke is sooooo BA.

On a side note, I was also reading some JSA comics, and if they make a sequel, they should totally include Wildcat. I love that guy!
 
His overall pose looks pretty... noob-like? It doesn't look right IMO. Can't wait for the Kahn render.
 
Now that I look more into it, I think the render(the pose) doesn't do him(the character) a good justice honestly. He'll most likely look way more badass in game cut scenes/gameplay for sure : )
 
They tried too hard to show off the sword and guns. If they had him in that intimidating arms-folded-behind-back stance like he has in the Teen Titans cartoon that would have been great. I also prefer the metal mask to the skintight one he has in this game. But they wanted to go for the extremely traditional comic book look which I can respect.
 
This, the render of Kano and the small glimpse of Barak we've seen so far says to me that we haven't seen the end of weapon kombat. Weapons, you either have em or you don't. This guy does.
 
Well, as I understand it they simply did away with multiple styles meaning no hand-to-hand + weapon styles. Baraka can still fight with his blades, or it could be like MK2/3 where his special moves are all blade related.
 
Neither was Jax's SMG in MKDA. Weapon kombat is strictly melee. Therefore Kano (who is wielding knives), Deathstroke (who has a sword), and Baraka (who IS a sword) may have combos which utilize their unique arsenals. Hence, we may not have seen the end of weapon kombat.
 
Weapons could be considered projectiles as well, from missles to grenades, etc. So I guess it never really started and it will never will really end, hehe.
