Mortal Kombat X Kollector's Editions Announced!

You can probably even get Goro if you buy the game early after its release. I buy a lot of games not long after their release and I still get the bonuses.

You need to buy the base game to be able to buy the Kombat Pack. The base game pre-order automatically gets you Goro so in all situations it would make no sense to advertize the pack as 4 characters if Goro was a part of it. Goro's not included in the pack.
 
Goro being part of the season pass wouldnt make sense. You get him free for pre-ordering. Why would they make you pay $25 or whatever it is for 4 more characters if you already get one for free by pre ordering?

I hope you're right. Hopefully they unveil who is included soon. You think they'd want to sell as many packs as possible
 
I ordered the Kollector's Edition from Gamestop and you Get Goro and both Scorpion Skins plus the Kombat Pack. To me and the gamestop manager Goro is not part of the Kombat Pack

I want them to tell us who we're getting as well. I don't spend money when I don't know what I'm getting. Not hopeful on that as that would mean 4 reveals at once.
 
Nice to see these Special Editions but I'm not that impressed. I don't like Coarse's Scorpion design and it looks awkward in-game. So I'll pass without hesitation.

Standard Kollector's Edition looks better - if you're a die-hard Scorpion fan. If not though, you'll get a Scorpion statue you don't really need, MKX Vol.1 which you've already read and that awkward-looking gold skin.

So there's still the Premium Edition. Kombat Pack DLC with 4 kombatants, two returning and two guests. I usually don't like guest kharacters so that's the best part of this: unless it's something absolutely awesome and jaw-dropping I don't need this. If NRS want to hook us on it, one of the returnees must be a Johnny Cage or Sektor.

So the best part for me in this announcement is that I rest assured that I'll be fine with the basic edition and I can buy the Komplete Edition later with all the bonus stuff. I won't pay extra for now.

So you'd essentially be paying for two games for $130 when you could have everything at release for $90? Pretty counter intuitive if you ask me.

but that's assuming there won't be more DLC after the Kombat Pass.
 
I was looking fot it since yesterday, but i still didn't find the "Cold War" outfit fro Scorpion on mkkollective.com... does anyone can show me the pic, or send a link please ?

And i also regret a lot there is no artwork book with this special Edition !

If you look at Gamestop's site, it clearly says the Goro code will be printed on your receipt, therefore not included in the Kombat Pack.
 
As much as I dislike gamestop, I had to get the gamestop edition, it has the best collection of game content.

you guys are lucky, at least you can preorder or download games, downloading games on my country's shitty internet would take me days (tried it). No exclusives for me, and I might not be able to get DLC due to region locked DLC...

More than anything, its the damn Goro code. I want Goro, I cant get Goro with a digital Pre-order. I prefer all digital for my game purchases.
 
Goro is a pre-order bonus, it make sense that he's not apart of the kombat pack. He's likely on the disc on DLC since he probably have a minor role in the story mode.
