To me it sounds like the guy is yawning, and the voice seems pretty unremarkable. The guy's voice has no bass to it, and it's not something an equalizer can fix.I thought the voices sounded pretty good. I have only heard the ones used in the videos interloko posted, but I think they sounded fine.
@arq_hawkin, good work on the animation. Now my usual comments:
- Firstly, did you see my suggestion here about Kang's shoulders?
- His legs are far too short. The height of the torso should probably be less than half of the legs' height and it's closer to 1:1.5 in yours. That will probably eliminate the need to reduce the feet as I had suggested before.
- His head should be bigger and the neck shorter. No negative space under the chin.
- He should be leaning forward more.
- It seems like your animation is limping a bit. Like his left foot goes forward too fast and it wobbles a bit right after it touches the floor. Also, when his right foot steps, his whole body reaches higher than when his left foot does. Try to visually follow the vertical position of his head and shoulders around your animation's cycle.
- His left upper arm should be much closer to his body.
- His pants should reach further down. No skin is visible between the pants and the shoes.
- When the left foot steps forward, it should go down heel first with the point pointing a bit up, and not point first.
- During the walking animation, the thumb position is OK, but the index finger should be almost straight and the curvature increases gradually through the other three fingers. Also, his right thumb is hidden behind the hand.
EDIT: This is what comes out of trying to match the waist-shoulder distance. Hope it helps.
