I feel like any leak that says "I know someone who works for NRS" is always a red flag. I feel like no one would be dumb enough to risk their job to give out to someone to post on Gamefaqs and 4chan.

Yes, I could also see the 6 characters being revealed closer to April, with the January 30th stream showing off Kabal (and I hope a new character).

Maybe we should mock this dude and just PM him with the most outlandish bullshit we can think of that we know won't be in MK11, and say it will be in MK11 anyway, citing an "anonymous source."

Maybe don't act like a child? If someone decides to post fake info, doesn't mean you suddenly get the rights to harass someone. Forum rules still apply to you too. Next thing we need is a shit show. We have Kombat Kasts coming up in less than 3 days. How about we concentrate on that?
We have a whole game to analyze ffs. Once entire roster is revealed or a character is revealed that isn't on Rhizodus list, we can just ignore him from that point. And we will have the evidence, on which we can report him for misleading info. No need to devolve into harassment and childish behavior.

I mean, it kind of works in the WWE and NBA 2k games, but pulling it off here would probably be a miracle. If it did work, though, yeah...it'd be awesome being able to truly go friend v friend. The WWE games just don't pull it off quite well enough.

This came out the other day too from the Netherkast diskord channel (you know, those guys, MK fans, like Razors_Edge, Shadaloo and others):
- Base roster is bigger than 25, its actually 30
- They confirm Cassie, Johnny, Kronika, Kitana, Shang Tsung, Kabal, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Kano, Noob, Jade, Rain, Frost, Kotal, Erron, Jax, Jacqui and 2 new characters (not human) as playable in base roster
- Reiko is listed as "confirmed, possibly DLC"
- Smoke and Fujin confirmed not main roster, "DLC?"
- They never outright confirm Takeda and Kung Jin, its just speculation on their part ("it would be ridiculous to have 2 and not all 4")
- They have not heard one way or another about Kenshi, Cyrax, Nightwolf, Sektor, Stryker, Ermac, Mileena, D'Vorah
- They say Reptile and Quan Chi are out, Goro "probably no"
- Kano's son is definitely not a character
- all characters gets new and old timeline playable versions and the team focusing hard on the contrast between the two (source is unsure how this will work for MKX characters)
- Frost gets turned into a "konstruct" (the same species as Geras) and sides with Kronika
- Krypt is more of an adventure mode and uses parts of the game stages
Not sure what to make of this. It was just one guy claiming to have inside knowledge (a pretty trusted guy on that discord). Shadaloo came uot and said the others don't know anything for sure and it doesn;t have to be taken as true.

Cool if Fujin is in, even if it’s just as DLC.
25 ~ 30 is possible, and most of those sound pretty safe, but I’ll still wait to see before believing any “leaks.”
It’d would be awesome to see Kotal, Jacqui and Erron also getting a second chance in MK11, if any of it is true.
I still find it hard that Reptile would sit out.
I’d believe Mileena and Quan Chi being out over Reptile, given that those 2 “died” in MKX.

If fake leakers don't like being called out on their bullshit, all they have to do is recant their bullshit claims, or better yet, not make fake leaks in the first place. [MENTION=28630]Rhizodus[/MENTION] has been here long enough to know that the validity of "secret sources" has already been addressed roughly a month ago, and he's also been here long enough to know that I SPECIFICALLY said that such "leakers" who do resort to the "secret sources" bullshit will have their credibility called into question each and every time. He knew damn well what he was getting himself into when he made that "leak".

Why don't you at least produce screencapped and/or recorded evidence of your conversation with your sources if you're not going to name them? Either way, you're not going off the hook for your leaks until you either prove them or recant them. I made it VERY clear at least month ago that your credibility will be called into question each and every time.

MK9 had 27 - 28 on the main roster, depending on if you got the PS3 or 360 version.
MKX had 25 total (including Goro).
Wouldn’t be out of the question / crazy if MK11 had a few more spots and what was shown on the stream was an old build.
Again, I expect it to be 25 and I’m taking it with a grain of salt.
I was just saying that the last “leak” didn’t seem like too crazy of a roster idea and felt more grounded / possible.
