I didn't say make character act like that. Just give clothing/hairstyle, so to show an alternate look. Or they could even add some lines. If there is a costume from a universe where Kano is a good guy, then he can say some specific lines to show his alt personality.
 
Out of all leaks, rumors etc. this one seems to be the most interesting:

Kollector is a real character. Friend was apprehensive about saying much more than that but he did let one thing slip that I don't wanna just flippantly throw out there (he's a cool guy and I respect him enough not to). I'll just say he's somewhat of a twist on a certain *type* of character that debuted in MK3.

CET (full name unknown, ends in N?) is a brand new female monsterish (non human) character. Through my own dumbass investigating and acknowledgement that Boon and co love taking mythologies of different cultures, I believe her name and possible visual style has something to do with Ceto of Greek Mythology. Considering Geras and Kronika are both names based in GM it makes sense to me. Release the Kraken!!(https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ceto)

Frost has been completely revamped. What that means I don't know.

Noob is in and sauce's sauce is pretty positive that he is base roster and not DLC, and that NRS are incredibly proud of his new design. Hype.

ST is in but they're going to keep him under wraps until launch because his inclusion is supposed to be a big deal.

Very interesting.

Those were my first thoughts reading that quote. I'm thinking it's a version of Motaro. Since it's been said making Motaro in the game would be impossible because his size and four legged body. So it could be a weird change in the character to make it work like what happened in MKA. "*Type*" makes me think this even more sense he was a non-playable sub-boss in MK3.

..or its Triborg re-imagined as "Kollector." A single entity kollecting the Lin Kuei characters' moves/abilities etc.
 
CET sounds like an Outworld character. Good. Kollector is probably some Cyborg kollecting the trash out. If that's the case then good.

The next character is probably going to be Kitana since 16bit sounded very excited. He's a massive Kitana fanboy.

All we know so far is the leaked character codes from Steam: KOL, CET, TER.

That's it.

The first MK game I've played was the very first one back in 1993. And I think quite of few of 3D era characters have potential. They just had the misfortune of debuting in a game where Midway didn't put much thought at designing movesets and due to that they were pretty bland and generic. Tanya for instance. MKX greatly improved her. As well as Shinnok who was just simply a poor man's Shang Tsung in MK4.

Even some of the trilogy characters weren't well liked at first. When MK9 came out, more people started to warm up to Stryker.

Agreed. Stryker is a bad ass. Just it doesn't help when you set him next to all these crazy supernatural/science fiction characters.

It came from Test Your Might, a guy on there posted it stating he got this information from three different sources, two of the sources both claimed the same thing about CET while apparently his most trusted source gave him the info on KOL before the Steam leaks, even he admitted the info could be BS but it's still interesting none the less, CET especially would make sense give the greek themes the other two new chars give off.

Would be cool too, but I'd rather see Havik on Noob Saibot's side, just like MK9 ending.

I think in a rebellion there should be someone for Raiden to bet. If it was between Havik and Noob, he would annihilate both. Now Ashrah? She's a demon but she's good. Or somebody else he could bet. I doubt Raiden is going the konqueror path, so he'll put some puppet in the realms he "brings peace".

I'm going in a more safe guess, I think it's either Kitana or Cassie. Woudn't be surprised if it was Jade, but I think they would rather show a character we already know it's there, this Kombat Kasts are just to see them playing.

I think (like others have said) that it will be Kitana.
Kitana is OSU16Bit (Steve’s) favorite character, and he seemed a bit happy when he said “she.”

Ah, Ok.
I misunderstood you. I thought you meant Ashrah and Noob fighting together.
 
The main reasons I'm convinced Shang and Noob will be in are:

A.) There is already at least one Shang stage in the game
B.) Its a game about revisiting the past
C.) Sub-Zero is in it, Sub-Zero's past would require Noob
 
I would love to see Shang Tsung morph into everybody, but I'm having dificulty imagining him doing with all this kustomization options.

Also, Noob is a must for this game. He's been away for too long already.
 
Imagine if the 24th and 25th spot are actually Shao khan and Kronika. This will officially make this Roster the worst in history

The stage doesn't mean much, to me, given that there were Tarkatans in MKX that showed up in the portal of the SF stage and would get killed and dragged off of the stage, yet Baraka was nowhere to be found in MKX.
The dead version of Tsung's Island could also just mean that something horrific had occurred there, but doesn't mean he's in.
The way that those monks and masked guards died looks like they were slaughtered by some one / some thing.
Yes, it's a game about revisiting the past, but that doesn't mean that every past character will be playable in this game. The roster leaks and recent reveals show Cassie, Jacqui, Kotal Kahn, Erron Black, D'Vorah, Skarlet and Geras being playable, which means that 7 of the 25 klassic characters that people ask for may not be in.
While I do believe that Noob has a decent shot at being in, I don't think that all of the characters pasts will be revisited in MK11.
Even if NRS goes the Injustice 2 route for story mode, not every character on the roster has a playable chapter in story mode.

Its not the only stage. There is Shangs Temple, The Nethership, and I just saw a screen shot of a third stage that looks, possibly, like a destoryed throne room.

Sidenote: Im just selfish, if Noob and Shang are in that would pretty much be all my go to characters.

I'm just saying that we don't know the context of these stages and what role they play in story mode.
The Courtyard looks like there was a mass genocide, but then it was abandoned for 25 years.
We also have a shot of the MK3 Cathedral, but with Shinnok's floating head in the background, so we don't know what's going on there.

Context matters more, imo, and without context it's more difficult to know who's in or what exactly is happening.
Those stages COULD point to him being if there are past version of those stages, but those stages could also be places that have been revisited after MKX.
 
Guys what if main plot twist is revenant Liu Kang being Shang Tsung in disguise?

I've always wandered why Liu was absent during Shinnok invasion in MK4 events of MKX. What's more, nu-Liu Kang is pretty weak, he uses tactical retreats and even with revenant power-boost and 25 years of training in hell he got obliterated by rusted, retired Jax.

Maybe I'm just going too deep into this but now, with Kang shooting Tsung's fiery skulls...?
